  • I don’t think the suggestion is that she’s a victim

That’s how she’ll spin it, because there is undeniable connections.

Not just that she was herself trafficked to start with, but that she went on to recruit and traffic others herself

Her only exit path is try to play the victim.

It’s not a “power struggle” where people are trying to gain control of the ship, the ship is burning and the rats are trying to find any way off.

Most of the people involved will just be trying to get away very soon. Like not just resigning and distancing themselves from trump, I think within 9 months a lot of them will legit dip the fuck out of the country and get somewhere they can’t be extradited from.

Especially Melenia and she’ll take Barron with her.

If anything that link just backs that up more

  • Glory Road is begging for an adaption, even tho a bunch of other stories have ripped off the premise. Like, it’ll be a “new” story to you, but you’re going to constantly see shit that other writers ripped off in the 60 years since it was published.

It’s Heinlein pulp SciFi too, so you can legit read it all in a day.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glory_Road

If you like that and want more, he wrote a shit ton of novels about “Lazarus Long”. Like, true old school 1960s sci Fi where the books weren’t telling a single coherent story, he just had to keep pumping out pages so he kept coming up with new stories.

There’s also “Stranger in a Strange land” which was known as “The hippie bible” during the height of the counter-culture movement, despite being about a man raised by Martians who returns to Earth.

    Just anything by Heinlein really

  • Lol…

The part that had a correlation is the protein thats basically the framework for muscles…

The more someone had in their bloodstream after a 10k, it means the harder they worker be ause as you use a muscle it breaks down. Then obviously rebuilds a little bit stronger.

How the fuck can something like that which can only be measured after each race going to predict anything?!

Like, this is literally just saying:

People who used their muscles harder during a 10k, usually ran it faster.

It’s like saying the race car that maintained the highest RPM probably got a fast time. It’s possible that someone can have such bad mechanisms that it’s not always true, but even “amateurs” running a 10k at least know how run efficiently before hand.

  • OP’s profile:

    Working on Plebbit

For those who don’t know, that was a shitty hard right wing social media that kept talking vaguely about how it was like crypto and torrenting.

For years now people have been spamming it to the threadiverse and trying to trick people into joining.

If you go to this website:

    https://bitsocial.net/

    It lists 5chan as inspiration…

And people are upvoting and promoting this entirely unmoderated chan board because two seconds of research is too difficult…

Like, c’mon people, critical thinking is important now more than ever

    Quick edit:

And to be clear this is the exact same project OP always spams, they just keep changing the name of it. It used to be accessible over the web tho, which allowed everyone to see the fucking horrendously racist, bigoted, and outright illegal shit they want people to be able to post.

  • Placebo/nocebo effects are powerful…

But the guy who did this research is a full on grifter.

It’s akin to Steve Jobs treating cancer by eating fruit. It didn’t mean that fruit doesn’t have any health benefits, it just can’t cure cancer.

Like, this chiropractor truly believes any human can be one immortal if they just “live in the moment” enough…

And he wrote a paper about how awesome he is and how effective his company’s treatments are

One co-author (Joe Dispenza) is employed by Encephalon, Inc., the company offering the retreat; all other authors declare no competing interests.

He’s just not dumb enough to put all his programs claims up to scientific rigor. You prove the handful of parts that you can, then extrapolate that to the obvious grift parts.

It’s snake oil salesmanship 101, basic enough everyone should recognize it on sight, just so they don’t fall for it.

  • Lol…

The study followed 20 healthy adults who took part in a 7-day residential retreat led by neuroscience educator and author Joe Dispenza, D.C.

For this not familiar seeing “D.C.” in this context or that name…

It’s a chiropractor that keeps rambling about “quantum” stuff without understanding any of it…

But when I typed Dr. Joe Dispenza’s name and pressed enter, the first page didn’t show the usual Wikipedia and Google Scholar pages. Instead, I got a bunch of random self-promotional websites and YouTube videos of conferences he had held. Some of these videos are deeply disturbing: telling a woman to just think about how much she wants kids to fix her infertility; saying that we can achieve immortality — and that some human beings have achieved it — by truly “living in the present.”

And the credentials? His website is incredibly vague: “Dr. Joe holds a Bachelor of Science degree and is a Doctor of Chiropractic. His postgraduate training includes the fields of neuroscience and neuroplasticity, quantitative electroencephalogram (QEEG) measurements, epigenetics, mind-body medicine, and brain/heart coherence.” Most scientists will agree this does not make you a neuroscientist. Also, a Bachelor of Science in what, exactly? Why withhold that information?

    https://nesslabs.com/the-rise-of-fake-scientists

I just imagine this chucklefuck being on a plane and someone yelling for a doctor…

And he leaps to the rescue, unnecessary adjusts their left rotator cuff, and then tells him to think about puppies to stop their heart attack.

There’s way to much pseudo science slop thrown around this sub tho, even if this one is so ridiculous it’s almost funny.

  • It’s not just fuel costs…

Their food supplies are adulterated at “single ingredient” level.

Like, Chinese street food used to be infamous for being adulterated, and so is any “street food” to an extent.

But in Indian cities all the food is adulterated because all the food is adulterated before it comes to a major city.

It’s hard to find good sources about how bad it is, because Modi doesn’t want people talking about how bad one of his government agencies is.

But it’s not like they’re just fraudulently slapping an “organic” label where it shouldn’t be. It’s like a whole truck of grain comes in mixed with pebbles thru out. Or a milk truck that had a bunch of cheap detergent poured in to cover up how watered down it was already.

When there’s zero government regulation, it starts looking a lot like drug dealing where every product gets “cut” at every step of distribution.

But even if you buy it straight off the truck as soon as it pulls into a major city, someone’s already stepped on it.

I think those shady practices are responsible for a lot of the cancer rates currently hidden by India’s pollution.

  • The trick is not settling for geriatric neoliberals who won’t stop talking about how fondly he remembers “the good old days” when Republicans and him smoked cigars, drank whiskey, and conspiracied to prolong school segregation…

Or about how nothing could every make him stop supporting a far right ethnistate currently committing genocide…

Like, most Americans want to hold these asshats accountable. The problem is prior DNCs were rigging primaries. The good news is the modern DNC isn’t pulling that type of shit already, and we’ve been seeing the gains for a minute
