About this work:

Resonance traces the faint tremor held within early morning air,
rooted in the presence of cicadas just before their calls emerge.
Thunder recorded both indoors and outdoors in the height of midsummer is electronically transformed, bending the quiet layer as if the air itself were subtly re-shaped.
The cicada presence is likewise processed, rendered into tones resembling electronic signals, forming a boundary where organic sound and modulation gently overlap.
Distant fireworks and rainfall, each touching the atmosphere in separate moments, leave delicate shifts within the season’s dense humidity.
The work follows the path of this “resonance” as environment and electronics respond to one another and continue to tremble through the thickened layers of summer.

作品について:

「Resonance（共鳴）」は、早朝の空気に宿る微かな震えをたどる作品です。
それは、蝉が鳴き始める直前の気配に根ざしたものです。
盛夏のさなか、屋内外で録音された雷鳴は電子的に変調され、空気の層がわずかに歪むような質感へと再構成されています。
蝉の存在もまた加工され、電子信号のような響きへと変形し、実音と変調音が重なり合う境界で、空気の揺れが新たな層を生み出します。
遠くの花火や雨音は、それぞれ独立した瞬間に空気へ触れ、季節の濃密さの中に微細な変化を残していきます。
本作は、環境とエレクトロニクスが呼応しながら震え続けることで生まれるその「共鳴」の軌跡を静かに追いかけるものです。
