I've noticed an increase in new players lately. It seems most start as Ottoman (Ali) or Dutch (Ernst). I'd suggest starting with England (Otto) or Spain (Catalina) instead. Why? Because early on Combat Admirals will net you more of the materials you'll need to advance in the game -- it's a lot easier to farm NPC pirates for shipbuilding materials instead of dong Land Exploration or largescale barter / trade early on. Not to mention they can help you with Guild Assaults, World Assaults, Skirmish, and Clash....

Despite being expensive, I bought Anne Bonny in Uncharted Waters Origins for 5,000 red gems. But can anyone tell me how to start her mission? It says it starts in the Caribbean, but I'm in Barcelona. How can I get to the Caribbean?
