Thanks for the advice! It was mod incompatibility due to a mechanic from Wrath of the Gods, so I replaced the world with an older version and everything is back.
If the tiles appeared corrupted (e.g. the same subtile column being used for each column) then there isn’t much you can do to fix this.
I think that a mod incompatibility causes this to happen, but regardless you’ll have to restore an automatic backup of the world. Check the document in the pinned Bugs/FAQ discussion.
You’ll need to clarify what you meant by “not working”.
