I really like short games, that don’t try to stretch their content too thin to inflate numbers. However 10 hours of story for 60€ seems super detached to me. I’m not paying that.
I saw someone play it and it looked very repetitive and the characters were kind of cringe and awkward like we knew their backstory and this was just an episode in their story.
I might play it if it’s like 80% off but I have better games in my backlog.
Also what’s with some of the reviews of it making up weird descriptions for it that don’t really describe games? Refreshing? Snappy? A throwback? A throwback to what? Shooter games are throwbacks now?
I wonder if that’s AI slop? Not saying the whole article is, mind, but if an LLM is used at any stage, it likes to inject superfluous, overly exact adjectives that don’t match the context.
