I’m at the end of the Dungeon Crawler Carl series. It’s great and should really be consumed via audiobook because the narrator goes above and beyond with the character voices.

I also recently read Going Zero by Anthony McCarten, I highly recommend it. Gives you new perspectives on privacy.

It was massive with only paper maps and no mobile phones. If you needed help, you had to ask or get somewhere that had a phone.

If you wanted to call someone, both people needed to be physically near a phone.

And we used to walk to school with our siblings on our backs, in the snow, uphill both ways.

My wife had 2 strokes last year. I am quitting my job of 22 years next month mostly due to the company’s work from home policy.

I know not everyone is in a position to just up and quit their jobs, especially this day and age, but life is short.

This is what prompted the question. I didn’t have a phone until I was older, so my wallet always went in the right. Only place left for the phone is the left.

I do agree, it’s getting harder to come up with new ideas. We’ll have to get creative.

As far as interest, yeah seems a bit quiet lately. I’m in the process of starting up a business and hardly have time to do anything. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it.

It also doesn’t help that Lemmy is still a pretty small platform. And the other problem is there is so much hate for ai here. Which is pretty funny considering how many people are actually paying for it.
