  • If you can swing the time and tuition, every urban hospital needs CNAs. It’s probably the least schooling for the most job security. Phlebotomy as well. Hospitals also, historically, offer cheaper/better health care if you stay in house.

Mileage will vary a lot by location, in terms of pay and such, but it’s worth looking into. In adfition, it shows you options and offers tuition reimbursement.

Hospitals, not long term care. The latter is awful, in most locations.

Barring that, there’s no schooling options like EVS and logistics/supply runners. The latter will be among the first cuts if Congress allows further cuts to Medicaid or Medicare.

  • Keyboard and mouse setup with old school DnD. The games that move your entire party with a single mouse click on the map.

    Baldurs Gate 1 & 2,

    Planescape Torment,

    Neverwinter Nights campaigns 1-3,

Neverwinter Nights 2, 1 & 2. MotB is artfully made. And you get to heroic and levels.

Iirc Dragon Age Origins has a similar setup, BioWare breaks from the format in later editions.

There’s always 4x. Endless Legend is neat. Stellaris. Civ for classsic content.

  • We’re not doing much now, even with:

    1. regime endorsed street executions,
    2. rollbacks on elections for midterms via postal service shenanigans,
    3. a pedophile and generalized rapist for President,
    4. religious threat, action, and rollback on the civil liberties of half the population,
    5. Healthcare,
    6. RFK and admin dismantling the cheapest most effective piece of healthcare we have: vaccines
    7. A war which will make transportation in this giant nation more onerous, and render more people homeless,
    8. impending collapse of the dollar,
    9. billionaires on their way to being trillionaires under the new tax code,
    10. Veterans disrespected and harassed and randomly ejected from their jobs weekly,
    11. A presidential police force stalking the streets, paid with our tax dollars,
    12. A partridge in a pear tree

And you think the 1% whacking Luigi will incite action.

  • It’s a cycle. Their dads and grandads tell them “back in my day women didn’t do these things…”

Yea, because they were trapped. Caged. Legally and financially.

And then there’s the manosphere. Josh Johnson just likened those guys to pimps. And you know what? He’s right. The manosphere figures are there to fill a hole created by bad fathering, take your power, dress you how they like, and have you give them your money in the process. Like a pimp.

Men who don’t know who or what they are fall victim to all of the above.
