The services will never change because consumers are lazy. It’s easy to just give their money away. People mock the “stop buying avocado toast” saying. But I think they just misunderstood it. I think the deeper meaning of it was meant to convey to vote with your wallet. You can buy avocados and bread at the grocery store and make an avocado toast yourself for under $1. But instead people go and buy it at a fancy pop-up and pay $18 plus tip for some mustachioed hipster with an artisan apron to make it for them.

New games are horribly optimized. There are a lot of multiplayer games that if you run the server and client on same machine it goes to shit.

Depends on the game engine I suppose. You can just browse up a few directories inside the prefix and find the second common place. Usually it’s c:\users<username>\appdata\ and sometimes even get stored in My Documents.

But using steam to browse files will get you directly into the prefix. After that it’s a matter of browsing around to the common locations the same as you would on windows.

You literally just right click the game in Steam and click browse files.

I tried to install tipi.io but the arrs wouldn’t talk to each other and I couldn’t figure out docker networking. Does yunohost work mostly ootb?

Last year I went to a performance of Beauty and the Beast that included the audience. They had two long dinner tables that everyone sat at. The actors worked around us. Running on the tables and in between us. At the far end was the throne chair.

There was also a live band mixed into the set and playing the music and sound effects.

I can’t help you with the games. You could vote with your wallet and just not play those specific ones. Start hitting that backlog of games you got on sale and never opened.

Regarding Adobe suite in a professional manner, I’m pretty sure they work on MacOS.

You always have choices. They may not be perfect but they do exist nonetheless. These companies will never stop being invasive if users keep giving in. Until “number go down” in board meetings, nothing changes.
