I tried making music once for a game jam where we swapped roles with someone
I’ve learned to never even think about making music in the foreseeable future lol
Rest is for the dead

Ah that makes sense
I can’t stop you from doing it, but please make sure you do your due diligence on where you get it from and exactly how it will affect you
As for doctors, it’s a very much your mileage may vary type of scenario. They’ll have their own biases as evident by the comic. You can ask them about the procedure though, and you can frame it as how it’ll affect you. Ask them about how post procedure will look like. You can subtly nudge them by saying you didn’t have a good reaction with x prescription previously, and how it affected your daily life. They should be able to get an alternative placed for you.
Uhh taking medication you’re not supposed to during a medical appointment is a fast track to being 6 feet under
You don’t know what you’re actually getting, you don’t know if it has any complications with your surgery, and you don’t know if they’ll provide some medication that does not go with what you took.
You can easily get a different drug or even get one that’s contaminated, you could accidentally take a drug with a side effect of dilating your blood vessel or anti blood clot and bleed out, or you could take a drug that doesn’t work with anesthesia and you wake up by accident during the procedure
Please be safe and if you don’t think your doctors are providing care, find a second opinion.
I don’t know about you, but I’ve never seen someone measure things in football fields except in the US
Also, football field != (American) football field
Nope, they’re just lying.
Graduating and marriage at 21 is crazy
Normal graduation is around 21 to 23, assuming you went immediately from high school to college (at least in the states)
So that means they basically got married during college, which sounds crazy to me, and somehow can afford a house at less than a year’s worth of a normal job schedule, assuming they started right when they graduated.

Just because he apologized and is on the path to rehab doesn’t mean I have to accept him. Like sure I wish him the best to be better, but I don’t necessarily need to accept him.

Thanks everyone for the replies. I’m going to try to be as careful with the nest. I don’t think I can move it. I’ll see if I can call some local wildlife rescues on the best option, but it seems like I should just let them do their thing.
Bird tax

Another view of it
Not true. Look at how they handled their anti-gambling lawsuit. They essentially did away with cases and keys, and now you can “open a terminal”. You aren’t gambling according to steam anymore, since you can decline the offer, but because this decline accept mechanic is baked into a dynamic pricing, you are now required to pay steam an average of 1700 usd for a pair of digital gloves, if you even get the offer.
They got rid of “gambling” for something much worse

Wow that is an incredible view
This might make me a morning person if I could see this everyday
Ever see something so cringe it wraps around to being funny again?

The thing is that there are real measurements of the market share of windows dropping. The only reason why adoption of w11 overtook w10 user size is because they made w10 end of life (although there are still ways around)
Unfortunately, some business idiot mathed up that losing users is fine as long as the others get forced onto w11
Windows could have done so much differently. More seamless integration with xbox and cross platform for gaming. Different, easily swappable profiles (windows) for different tasks (basically overhauling desktops, like for art, dev work, etc). Optimizing microsofts enterprise software suite without all the bloat. Not deprecating the idea of android support.
But like all big tech companies, they only see money now

I wish windows went down a different path. Instead they decided to double down on ads and ai, because shareholders are more important than the actual customers

Auto dub is the worst thing made
Hurts my brain whenever I hear the fake narrator persona
I’d rather have the old text to speech voice than that
Its the chemicals in the water /s
Yea I’ve been thinking of making a small speaker setup so I can play white noise. It’s just annoying because it’s only the odd day where it gets unbearable
I’ve been running into this a lot more often lately. And the worst part about this is that my tinnitus that normally I can ignore starts screeching louder, so it keeps me up even more
It’s just a perpetual negative feedback loop
That customer might be over their heads lol
AI in game development is cringe
I did game dev for the love of the game, not to spin games up as efficiently as possible.
There’s a reason why many people hate seeing AI in games. It’s viewed as a passion project for many, and AI kinda tosses that out the window
