  • just came from a bookclub (ended at 3am). but one black woman there was telling us about her pregnancy, where they forced C-section her without her consent, and how nurses came in and shoved their hands in places without asking or responding to her when she said they were hurting her. and how she was invited to a an event to tell her horror story, which ended in a standing applause… gor the gynecology team…

    it’s really bad

the problem is the inevitability of the heat death of the universe, and the meaningless of existence if there’s no life at the end.

While the solution is to optimize the entire universe, though massive galactic engineering (using plausible physics) to maximize their research in order to break thermodynamics. I’ll try to make it clearer.

the ending is clear, but wether it’s good or bad is ambiguous and up to the reader, as they basically incarcerated humanity on earth and took away any possibility of humanity ever leaving earth. without any negative effects on the planet or humans.

  • hey, if you seen in other threads in this conversations, my main goal is for people to question normative monogamy. even if I still disagree with monogamy, and you still agree with it, I’m just glad you didn’t absorb that concept uncritically.

one of my issues is that it is the norm, therefore the default, and socially considered the expectation, and even the only proper way.

nothing normative should be inetenalise uncritically. even if you agree with it after thinking about it.
