On your phone, assuming you use Android, there are many apps that allow disabling shorts.

Technology@lemmy.world•The Free Market Lie: Why Switzerland Has 25 Gbit Internet and America Doesn'tEnglish
7·4 小时前Man, all I want is square speeds. I’d be happier with 100Mbps square than I am with my current 400/40Mbps down/up, even if it was the same price. I’m a video creator and self-hoster, 40Mbps up is not enough.

News@lemmy.world•Americans quit streaming services as cost of living continues to climb, report finds
4·8 天前It isn’t even at the click of a button. It’s more like first looking up the show to find out which service it’s on, realizing you don’t already subscribe to that one, having to input your payment method, purchase it, then find the show. Assuming you do it the “right” way of course.
At that point it’s easier to just pirate it and put it in the same place as all of your other shows instead of having to juggle all the streaming services. Plus, an added bonus, it’s free.

2·9 天前I 100% agree, and wish they’d invest some more resources into making the dialogue passable. I could be wrong, but it seems to have only gotten worse with each new game. Hopefully (though I’m not holding my breath) FH6 can break that trend…

41·9 天前I’m not saying the dialogue is good, but I don’t think sensitivity filters or whatever are the issue, it’s just bad writing, and it doesn’t seem to be a priority to spend time creating a compelling story.

6·9 天前I feel like there’s some saying related to this…
I saw that, with a new rule banning removal of credit! Seems like they’ll be gone in short order, but a shame it took that long.
I don’t understand how they aren’t banned. Does this community have moderators?
Seems to have a mind of its own though
Linking your shitty community in the description while considering a watermark in a comic strip to be advertising is peak irony.
But not lazy enough to leave watermarks. Fascinating.
Had to look that up. I’m happy keeping my keys in my pocket.
I should definitely combine my flashdrives into one… But I haven’t gotten around to that I suppose. The form factor of these is awesome, I’ve been using them for over 10 years, my first one was a USB-2 variant.
I might steal the idea of putting my house key on a lower ring, I currently find it by feeling the teeth as they’re newer and sharper than my parent’s house key lol.
I really love the form factor of the sticks I carry, the solid one piece of metal with no moving parts. The dual ones always have a swivel, though that lexar one does look nice.
The USB C adapter just goes on the end of one of the sticks so it doesn’t really add another thing to carry.
What. Did you look at the photo? My keys are probably still smaller than average.
That would add some bulk, and I don’t really have issues with plugging my keys into a computer. Frankly, I don’t use the flashdrives that often, but when I need them, they’re lifesavers.
I don’t have Seperate Keychains for each vehicle, I have all of my vehicle keys on quick releases, so I can just clip on the vehicle key I want to drive. It’s great. I do sacrifice minimalism a bit for some practicality in other ways, but yeah, I try to keep it light.
- My house key.
- Parent’s house key.
- Current vehicle key.
- Minimal flashdrive with Ventoy on it.
- Different minimal flash drive for normal files stuff.
- USB C to A adapter so I can use the flashdrive with my phone/steamdeck/etc. I keep this on the end of a flash drive.
- Google FindMy Tracker because I am the type to misplace my keys.
- Smallest bottle opener I could find.
- Telescopic pen, mainly for geocaching, as I’ve forgetten a pen way too many times.
- Sofirn SC01 mini flashlight. They don’t seem to sell this anymore unfortunately. It’s a super tiny stainless steel (so it matches my pen and flashdrives) 10180 powered flashlight that’s actually pretty bright.
Sounds like a lot of crap, but it ends up looking like this, which isn’t too bad, considering all of the utility it has.
I’ve never owned a car that shows the speed digitally, but I use my phone as a speedometer very often and now it’s easier for me to read that than the dials.

2·19 天前Yeah, I know someone who works as a grocery getter and that’s super cool. I wish they’d open that up to customers, it’d be an actual reason for these to exist.

Does Edge support Linux? Actually, never mind. I’m good.
