Y’all are the actual government of an entire country. You shouldn’t be making fucking jokes in the first place especially when it pertains to the law. And if this was a joke, it’s not even a very good one.

He’ll never get the actual Nobel Peace Prize and I’m sure, deep down, that absolutely infuriates him. Like when one kid is jealous of another kids toy so the parent buys another one just for them but the kid doesn’t want it because they wanted that one. And the fact that he’s probably absolutely livid every time someone brings up Obama’s peace prize is hilarious to me.

I could honestly see this backfiring in a really funny way. Not only will they actually try harder to get them to learn to read, but in my experience kids tend to hate books they are forced to read. In the setting that is church there’s more of a peer pressure from all the other kids and adults to learn the bible. In high-school/middle-school there’s peer pressure to not read the books you are supposed to read save for those that love reading. The only books I remember reading from those years are the ones I chose to read while the ones I was told to read had left my brain almost entirely by my mid 20s

I’m gonna have to agree. It’s been a growing trend for years and most sites don’t even give you half the features on the site.
The other day I went to place an order for a pizza on the Dominos website on my phone and it would crash every time I tried. Went to my PC and it worked perfectly first try. I’m not downloading your fucking app when I only eat your food, like, once a year.

I played before and after the patch without even knowing they did a balance patch and didn’t really find it any different than before. Only after I looked at the patch notes was I like “oh yeah, that was a little different” and went on to play a couple more runs.
All I’m saying is, in general, most people probably do not even notice. I used to play Overwatch with my friends and would never pay attention to balance updates. I’d be playing my favorite heroes and my friends would say halfway through the game “oh yeah, did you see [blank] got nerfed?” And unless the update was dramatically different I’d literally be like “really? Seems fine to me.”
Although, some of the main enemies should really be elites. But I’m sure we all agree on that.

They’re not skeptical about birthright citizenship in and of itself, they’re just skeptical about this specific argument to end it. If they did decide to end it they’d want it to be rock solid and hard to argue against and not whatever the hell they were presented here.

They’ve been doing that pretty much since the beginning back when this first started coming out. A few YouTubers I watch said they had to stop using Adobe’s stock photos a few years back because they didn’t wanna accidentally use AI.

My guess is it’s as loose as the definition for being a terrorist according to the US.

We can’t even get them to upgrade our infrastructure to the 21st century in some cases so good luck with that. We still got shit running on Windows 7 or even Windows XP.

This isn’t sustainable. Almost all of our infrastructure runs on computers and eventually it will reach a point where you have a computer in charge of vital infrastructure that won’t be able to buy replacement part and it’ll just fail.

That’s kinda what I think too. I already have both God of War games and both The Last of Us games. That’s really all I wanted at the end of the day.

I don’t get me at all. :(

This right after they said they are going to stop porting their games to PC. Guess I’ll just have to live without PlayStation games. I have hundreds of games in my backlog anyway, I think I’ll survive.

No thank you.

It’s definitely hard to tell someone’s tone when it comes to text so i appreciate you mentioning that. I understand the confusion as I wasnt very clear in what I was talking about which is 100% my fault. I went a little off the handle and got defensive, I will admit, and I apologize for that.
I guess the point that I was trying to make is more so that we have many different ways to do it for years I was talking about things like captchas. The problem, in my opinion, is that captchas didn’t evolve with the Internet. We’ve been picking traffic lights for over a decade now and it’s obviously not working anymore. My whole idea with drawing pictures was to make it more human centric than clicking a bunch if buttons. Something that can take in the raw input of a mouse cursor or touchscreen and determine whether or not the movements are “human”. Like a fingerprint that doesn’t identify you. If it sees too many predictable patterns it flags it. I just feel like there’s a lot of wasted potential in older human verification systems that have stagnated. We’ve just accepted bots as the norm online and the company’s in charge aren’t doing a damn thing besides saying they’ll do something with no action.

I am some of those but I won’t tell ya which ones. ;)

One of the reasons I’m glad I don’t do Reddit anymore. I still go on there for news and stuff every once in a while, but the comments are unbearable at this point. It seems every comment on every subreddit that isn’t a niche hobby is trying to push some kind of agenda. The worst in my opinion is r/doomercirclejerk. 80% of the accounts on there are less than a year old and they all sound cartoonishly propagandized.

I imagine a lot of defaced currency in the future, allegedly. Maybe I’ll keep a few pristine ones for when MAGA wants to buy them as collector items in 15 years. I already know they’ll spend any amount of money on stupid shit like hats and stickers so I’m sure I could make decent amount. Only MAGA would be dumb enough to spend a hundred bucks on a ten dollar bill.
It’s definitely not the right choice, but I can see why he’d do it. Silence would have been better. If he’d have said nothing nobody would be arguing about him.
Dude probably prompted ChatGPT with the words Bible, badass, and US military and than asked it to replace some words with the rescue operation. That’s my guess as some of the word replacements make no sense.
