I wish European capitalism was anywhere near what you seem to think. It’s just less worse… for now.

Software security is not their top priority if the discussion with the Graphene OS project is anything to go by. Not necessarily a deal breaker but something you may want to know.

Russia does not exactly “help” Iran, they back-stabbed them on several occasions. A more accurate description would be that Russia supports Iran to the extent that it serves its own agenda.

it is usually a lot more expensive to travel using long-distance trains than it is to travel by airplane
That’s because kerozene is tax free contrary too every other energy source.

Thanks for posting the actual material. Well, that’s not looking great.
I don’t believe struggles can be fought without violence, that’s just what the naive and the supporters of the status quo want everyone to think. But when someone decide their contribution to a cause is to be an MP, they should either abide by the principles behind it or choose a different course of action. Just my 2ct obviously.

(3) a lasting war is more profitable.

Maintenance cost, security hardening, visibility, that’s a few reasons coming from the top of my head.

The article says images over Iran are still available without delay. It’s the regions around around that are affected. I assume it is to hide the effectiveness of Iran retaliation to Iran or to public opinion.

Why are you not quoting the part where they say they cross-checked that the videos were real and the building was correctly identified ?
I don’t believe the people who contract them are being duped though. They do it to delegate and dilute the chain of responsibility until their decisions become acceptable.

Just checked, it appears you can renounce it :
the State Department no longer proactively attempts to prove such intent, and issues a Certificate of Loss of Nationality (CLN) only when an individual “affirmatively asserts” their relinquishment of citizenship.

It’s not, the map is wrong.

From what I recall of the only time I played it, it has a lot of going back and forth and large empty spaces which artificially extends the duration of the main story.

Exactly, think of all the billions that have been spent to subsidize renewable energy instead of building insulation, public transport, heat pumps, etc. The net balance would have been better (more energy saved than supply increased) and it would have shifted the mix from fossil to electricity more.

I don’t know for UK, but I’d reckon most of the commercial deficit in EU wrt USA is gas, not food.

A shared currency and central bank for diverse economic systems is a pretty bad idea actually.
Interesting. I don’t know German politics and parties well. Here in France the far right has abandoned anti-eu positions much like Meloni in Italy. They try to appeal simultaneously to the french who are against EU (due to its weaknesses, corruption and anti democratic nature), and to the business and finance which is pro EU. It is contradictory but they act in favor of the latter and build the opposite image with the help of billionaire owned media.
The situation is pretty much identical in France. It should be noted that European Union was pretty much designed by the USA so its propensity to favor US positions and to fail to unite and thrive is by design.
