If they’re the same track pads as on the Steam Deck they don’t actually physically click in anywhere, but they have really good pressure sensitivity and can be configured to deliver a haptic feedback “click” back to your thumb when you press hard enough. It feels just like clicking a physical button, but it’s all a clever electronic illusion.

To test this on a Deck, try clicking with the unit switched off and keep trying as you hit the power button and it starts up.

My wife and I are a couple of old SNL nerds who both fondly remember watching this episode when it first broadcast. We often joke that if we ended up filthy rich somehow we’d get a real one of these made for us.

I still listen to FM radio and, if you’ll please pardon me tooting my own horn, I also help make some of it as part of a long-running weekly talk show. (I’ve been off the air for the past couple weeks, but I’m back next week.)

I was a listener to the station and the program for a long time before I joined up. I still listen to radio often, and the medium continues to mean a great deal to me.

Piracy = popularity. The big studios take torrent popularity as a metric these days. Even if you’re not paying for the show, everyone seeding and downloading that torrent is being used as a sign by the industry that they should keep giving Rowling money which she, in turn, uses to harm people.

Pirating her content is still making her rich, while also granting her a deeper foothold in your own media environment, heart, and mind. You deserve better, and you can do better.
