I can’t go back and do it all again Hawk and dove Attacks from above Always something clouding up the brain No space I always dream of going far away Outrun everything A pointless game All apologies, they get stuck in my throat If only In the hands of judgment Letting the past define me I wish I had been brave Enough to be myself
2.
Going through the motions No one needed to tell us what to do We’ve watched and learned, freeze Show no emotions To flinch is weakness as far as we know Dysfunctional We just want to hold you But we don’t know how to To change the motions To break the mold now Lost in the ocean A sense of comfort comes to us Let’s swim further out A strange devotion To something that we never chose We police ourselves We just want to hold you But we don’t know how to To change the motions To break the mold now We just want to hold you But we don’t know how to To change the motions To break the mold now

A body switch Like a primal roar Four hands are stuck Jaws open wide What’s this that is beside me? I feel its blood flowing through me The very beast I was closest to As the water froze It feels the chills you feel The thirst that never goes away Adapt to its temptations Half of a double giving birth I search the ground For a sharpened stick They left me nothing Moving out of sight I knew this world was falling This gives a whole new meaning Can’t wait to lose my consciousness On moldy human roses I wake and breathe the toxins I begin to fall through the Milky Way I’ve trained for much but not for this If I slip, will it catch me? What’s this that is beside me? I feel its blood flowing through me The very beast I was closest to As the water froze It feels the chills you feel The thirst that never goes away Adapt to its temptations Half of a double giving birth It feels the chills you feel The thirst that never goes away Adapt to its temptations Half of a double giving birth

The sea, alive and restless Giving cliffs a treatment with lashing sting Drifting shades in turmoil The gust of wind through the whirling hair Firing synapses Ignite through circuits, a latent trait And now remembering The years without peace With something inside awakening All paths, all winding Before the end of the last instar At the ledge above the waves A deep breath, a leap Unfolding of patagia Sound of beats from the wings in the night Cauldrons from waking caves join the flight It was told that the cloud is near, When there's a flicker of light Found foreign places, lost in the sublime Lack of desire gone Nevermore aimless meandering All sharp perception Since tasting the grail on the other side With appetite for more A small grin, a leap Unfolding of patagia Sound of beats from the wings in the night Cauldrons from waking caves join the flight It was told that the cloud is near, When there's a flicker of light

You are insane My séance sensei Blood on my face Blood on my face You’re pretty sick I love all your tricks Blood on my face Blood on my face White and shining teeth Rotten beneath, they want us all numb Reflecting back into their endless void They feed the comfort to crawl You encourage the fall The storm keeps us warm Fear consumed by night You are insane My séance sensei Blood on my face Blood on my face You are pretty sick I love all your tricks Blood on my face Blood on my face Their fingers sharp and thin Where they end you begin Aiming to please Feeding disease, cloaked regression Watching all the colors die Screamed that we should stay They want us tame, you have your own way Fear of the vastness of your trail Then we fought And I lost I need all your little games Where they end you begin Fear consumed by night You are insane My séance sensei Blood on my face Blood on my face You are pretty sick I love all your tricks Blood on my face Blood on my face You are insane My séance sensei Blood on my face Blood on my face You are pretty sick I love all your tricks Blood on my face Blood on my face

After the war, the ground lies bare Chains rattle in the poisoned air No faces, noises of a cold machine Invisibility in plain sight Easier the bigger the lie A vicious plan older now than everyone A wave that crushes flesh and blood Comes over us Our mirror shines, reflecting back The Draconian Pulse A crystal ball in a hole in a tree A vision of a new destiny Snakes of hair, eyes of stone A lesson learned from beyond the sea A tale of myths and history All will change, when they look our way A wave that crushes flesh and blood Comes over us Our mirror shines, reflecting back The Draconian Pulse

Nex Animae 03:46
In all the major ways I’m me On the other side of mortal history Recurring visions hard to believe Let me forget and float eternally Nothing is ordinary It’s not the afterlife I heard of A face I know all too well Nex Animae Once is not enough, got no restraint Nex Animae Twice the pleasure, twice the pain Now I know that immortality Could be the worst of all the penalties A déjà vu, it’s not the first time A violent loop replaced the straight line Nothing is ordinary It’s not the afterlife I heard of A face I know all too well Nex Animae Once is not enough, got no restraint Nex Animae Twice the pleasure, twice the pain

Megalomania 03:44
Come closer, come here, I can’t see you I have never ever met someone like you Let me see, let me know, I can give you All I ever had just to know you Love me, love me like you did them I cannot unsee a future requiem Commodus, Lucius, Invictus Come and show, do a show, non-scripted Are you dying to see me? Life’s a mystery, the weak are playing strong Megalomania The secret is that “The Secret” is wrong Don’t trust them Like the sun, like a God, everywhere now Immortal with endless powers In disguise, in the guise of Hercules Your reign is forever, it must be Celebrate in the wake of the last strike Your precision makes you seem so Christ-like Lions and birds at your feet You will live when we're all due our last sleep Send another one, we’re all one under you Life’s a mystery, the weak are playing strong Megalomania The secret is that “The Secret” is wrong Don’t trust them Through the smoke we choke in a good mood We receive your wrath with gratitude One more, one more, it is not enough Don’t rest till there’s no one left of us Again we march as one man Left, Right, so tight, so powerful Commodus, Lucius, Invictus Come and show, do a show, non-scripted

They all came from the very center Unquestioning obedience Using fear as a lethal weapon Promising everything When they call, you will follow A shining path, into the whispering sun When human aspiration Is crushed by indifference Prophets of doom gather around us “Come join us at the fireplace” Through the haze in the midst of mayhem I can hear the dead behind them Legions of chained men Headed out to the dark seas I saw their faces contort in pain They could never leave Attuning, shapeshifting I see how you’re changing One more lie and you’re ready To throw yourself onto your sword Climbing out of their new graves Seeking out the disoriented When they hear the apocalypse rising Submitting to anything When they call, you will follow A shining path, into the whispering sun You will believe, give up control All your money and your soul It’s too late, you’ve gone too deep First in line: Enemies of the true way Only one method to prove your faith Always be ready to throw yourself onto your sword

about

Thin Eater returns with their sophomore album, Incisor, a record that merges pulsating post-punk with industrial textures. The album navigates a vast emotional landscape, ranging from introverted reflections to outbursts of raw aggression.

The title refers to the front teeth, derived from the Latin incidere: “to cut.” It serves as a dual symbol of individual survival and broad-scale resistance. The album chronicles the escape from isolation and hopelessness toward the community necessary to confront a world increasingly tipping toward conflict and authoritarianism.
