    You can make it all grainy and greyscale, but I still know that backdrop is bright orange and purple 😛

    In my view, true moral virtue isn’t simply being “nice” or harmless by default. Real virtue lies in recognizing your own capacity for darkness, cruelty, or harm - and then consciously choosing not to act on it. It’s the deliberate decision to be kind, honest, or compassionate even though you could do otherwise.

    A person who doesn’t steal because they’re afraid of getting caught isn’t good. Person who thinks they could get away with it but decides against it is.

    It’s not about the behaviour itself but about what motivates it. It’s possible to be right for the wrong reasons.
