Took me a good minute to find them. Then I seen those peepers. Hehehe
I appreciate this AI-free version.
The process is a real pain in the neck though

science@lemmy.world•Why ruthless characters rise at work and why some managers choose them— New research reveals why some managers actively favour manipulative or self-serving workers. those choices backfire in long runEnglish
2·4 days agoThe asshole at work creates more work than they do. Anyone who hires one knows damn well what they’ve done and unless they have the balls to fire them, they’re complicit in keeping them around.
Can confirm, dealing with that type of asshole at work. He wants to do as little work as possible and offloads his responsibilities on others, causing massive slowdowns and inconveniences his fellow coworkers who all hate him, but management loves him because he’s a suck up and a snitch (read: often makes up stuff about people to get them fired). It’s so infuriating that these people just skate on by.
Pazuzu you ungrateful gargoyle! I put you through college and this is how you repay me?!

11·4 days agoExactly, the Bible talks about donkey dicks and horse cum!
As someone who has to drive to work before sunrise, FUCK THESE HEADLIGHTS. I’ve even seen people with the old style incandescent headlights just having their high beams on as default. People stopped caring about others on the road long ago, but it really accelerated post-COVID.

39·5 days agoSome managers see themselves in those kinds of people, and therefore sympathize with them. Just my perspective anyway.

No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•Do you ever get the feeling of zooming out of your phone into your head and actually realizing everything, instead of just mindlessly watching videos?
16·5 days agoShort form videos on an algorithm are designed to be addictive. You now have an addiction just as these tech bros intended. You can stop at any time. Try to find a hobby that takes up your time and interest instead of watching these videos.

Thank you for providing the artist credit that OP neglected to obtain.
And you have to admit, in the age of AI generated slop everywhere, it’s not a bad thing to be skeptical.
Really wish the artist was credited…
Edit: I’m not entirely convinced that this isn’t AIthe artwork is not AI generated.

Same. I’ll never forget that day. :(
