When I switched during the API blackout, the first issue I ran into was just a lack of content. That’s definitely been resolved since. I think at this point it just comes down to how well they can pick up on the concept of the fediverse, and picking an instance.

Nothing has really changed on this front. Nothing is stopping you from making and playing flash games, and flash itself is just as vulnerable now as when it was still supported. Yeah, it’s got the same limitations as MS Paint in that manner. Since you’re using ellipses and not rectangles to get the faces, I’d expand the canvas and move a face there, and then move it where you want after moving the old face, then crop again.
