I remember going on road trips as a kid and the windshield and grill of the car would get hammered with bugs during the summer. Now it’s so rare to see a bug splat on the windshield that it’s conversation worthy when it happens.

I see your point but I guess part of me really wants to see evidence that more of the maga cult has come to their senses. 84% still being willing to vote for him again damages my view of my fellow americans even more.
I’d prefer all shapes and sizes, and even if some of them are humanoid I wouldn’t want them to look more humanoid than say C3PO. For multiple reasons I wouldn’t want them realistic enough to fool any part of my brain into thinking they are human.
