  • Actually, for a fascist it’s very easy. When words dont really mean anything and your ideology demands no consistency you can say what you want and defend the indefensible. If you think that rational people would see through all that you’re right, but their followers arent. They’ve been trained for over forty years to be led by the nose by their media peer group. Be it conservative news or Facebook posts or green text or their local evangelical demigogue, whatever it is they will be told what they want to hear. Trump is right, and by extention they are right too. And to question it is to put at risk all the relationships they’ve built up over their lifetime. To be wrong is too risky, so they simply arent. And people like Sean Hannity can say whatever they want without question.

  • My guess is a combination of restricted supply and speculation. The largely unregulated market of the u.s. is allows investors to just buy up the supply of a commodity especially if everyone knows the price is about to jump. Add to that the fact that a large % of the world’s oil passes through the straight of hormuz means that a lot of gas that would be used in the states is being shipped elsewhere.

  • Subscription service for an old single player game is bullshit. This is my current beef with nintendo, aside from trying to kill the emulation community. I just got a switch light. I found they even offer old NES games for free in a bundle. Oh but you have to sign up for their subscription service, two weeks free! I gotta pay six bucks a month and always be online to play ancient once practically abandonware single payer games from before the internet was even a thing.

Remember, you don’t own shit unless you have it in physical media.
