I am trying to add a calendar in iCal format to my phone.
Fossify Calendar is nice and fully offline, using DAVx5 as sync adapter.

In DAVx5 I can only add an account, which does not work for this link. The only direct link to add is a WebDAV filesystem mount
I use ICSx5 for this.

Create an app-specific password for your Apple account. You can use that to log into iCloud from DAV5x with the “login with email address” option. This will add the account to your system, making it accessible from any calendar app including Fossify Calendar.

“iCal” is often used to refer to Apple’s calendar serrvice. Using DAV5x is the preferred way to sync this to your Android device
It seems to be some kind of open standards. iCal is not supported by DAVx5, ICSx5 works
