Google Pixels can be flashed with Graphene OS which is just a debloated, private, secure, opensource OS.

I agree. GrapheneOS uses chromium for Vanadium as it has far superior sandboxing to firefox, meaning it has more security. However vanadium doesn’t have adblocking.

So I use brave on mobile, with some settings tweaked recommended by privacyguides.org. Also brave uses chromium which is the only way to install grapheneOS in the first place, on desktop.

Also out of the mainstream browsers brave is far superior to all of them out of the box, even firefox, for those who arne’t into researching the perfect browser. It has in built adblocking and decent default settings. I use librewolf 99% of the time.

• Side note I did some research proton is owned 80% by the proton non for profit something which is pretty cool.

One time I tried to run a mc server which sudo which messed up the permissions for the files the script downloaded.

This may just be a me thing, but GrapheneOS works fine on my pixel 6a. Biggest problem is a few other privacy apps I keep installing and sometimes doing abnormal more private niche things only graphene can do anyway.

Buy secondhand, especially if you still want iphones. Money goes to lower class (something like Facebook marketplace has no tax), no money to “less bad” competing companies, and you’ll get a much cheaper product which still has the “appleness” you want.

Nothing should fall on the morals of the lower class consumer. While personally buying secondhand, keeping stuff you own until they break and fixing them, as well as reducing overall consumption is personally what I do, I shouldn’t need to do that. The company should change there slave laws.
