I’m pretty sure they’re legally required to display the helpline. No idea how the requirement has survived the current U.S. admin so far, but if these companies had their way, their victims would not be getting help

Technology@lemmy.world•Majority of CEOs report zero payoff from AI splurgeEnglish
40·3 months agoThanks for reminding us to resist giving in to confirmation bias. And thanks for the summary! I’ll go read the article now for the full picture
Edit:
Is PwC advising clients not to worry if an AI pilot project fails, and push ahead with a large-scale deployment anyway?
I hope that any cultist CEO that rolls out this crap gets bitten hard by their hubris, that they become an example for the rest

3·6 months agoIt’s close, but the hue is just red enough for my book. I won’t argue with anyone calling it blonde though. The official box art (both JP and NTSC) shows her slightly more orange than the sprite too.

3·7 months agoI am completely floored to learn that that website is not only still up, but going strong! I used to frequent it in middle school in the early aughts when I was obsessed with CGI and messed around in Bryce, and later, Terragen. The art on that site filled me so much inspiration it’s unreal!
For now, these features support English only, making premium AI more accessible and flexible for everyone.
They can’t be serious, right?

I’m sure some of the Polybius one was dramatized a little (apart from what was clearly labeled as actors reading the transcripts), but it makes for an unforgettable watch. And the music!!
