Unrelated 😉, is anyone working on Firefox for Android TV?
(I was using SmartTube previously, but it appears YouTube have somehow detected it and started blocking it)

It’s all relative. Is 31 years a long time? Relative to how long USB-C has been around, yes, relative to how long RS-232 has been around and how long it was in common use… also yes 😅

USB may be older than you were thinking: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/USB#History
This is how genies usually work in most stories, they grant your wish based on the wording, and always interpret it in the least charitable way possible.

I’d rather have trains.
for this one I think you’re gonna want a burner pc(like a burner phone but it’s a pc) 😅

Oh I know what hundreds and thousands are, and I saw the doughnuts were defective…
I guess this kind of humour just isn’t for me.

I don’t get it… 😕

Also the AI is trained on FOSS code but then used to make closed code that ignores the open licenses of the FOSS code that it copied.
Do you have a good example?
Closest i could find was this one:

Hmm… Maybe using IP addresses like we use phone numbers? 😅
That seems worse though 😅

you never know, he could be a ghost, or be trapped inside a pigeons body or something.
what accent pronounces “d” the same as “t”?
How is an ambulance ride $5k though? Do EMTs make like $2500 p/h?
That was a bit of a garden path sentence for me, was expecting it to say something like: “when healthcare is so good patients start to run after ambulances because they want to be inside them once more”
the way I do it is I use two computers 😅
(especially ctrl-k for killing from your cursor position to the end of the line ctrl-a for jumping to the beginning of a line and ctrl-e for jumping to the end of a line)
I haven’t tried emacs but in any other text editor for these things I’d do:
do you have any more complex examples where emacs excels?
oh you’re right, looks like it’s just auto updates that were broken
