Both work because the reversal is part of the point. I didn’t find it difficult to read, so it’s subjectively legible.
I’m not sure which is worse, the fact that you thought this was clever and relevant or the fact that other people upvoted it and helped to validate your unbounded idiocy.
That makes it seem like the post is about the house itself and not about limited access to resources. I’m glad you went bungee jumping but this is exactly the type of post it should be.

Programmer Humor@programming.dev•Free software has some glib naming conventions
11·4 months agoWhen I met rms, I said “gnoperating system” lmao
Unless your job is doing something like political organizing, it makes no sense to draw a distinction between loving your job and doing it for free. I don’t understand why we even need to discuss this.
These people don’t want to hear it. They’re obsessed with the cult of hating Microsoft. If they said, software should be libre/open source and LibreOffice is superior in that regard, I could take them seriously.
Microsoft Word is just fine. I assume most of the hate is for Microsoft because Word works just fine for most people’s use cases.

Lemmy Shitpost@lemmy.world•My culture also loves music, dancing and telling stories
1·4 months agoI mean, yeah, obviously sugar isn’t spicy, but that’s because there are no spices in it. Ketchup is made with spices and is tangy from vinegar. So you never know how people perceive it.

1·4 months agoMaybe it is spicy ketchup or something? I don’t know. People who judge others’ spice tolerance belong in prison.

3·4 months agoIf only it were actually “people often speak about the foods they enjoy” and not “you’re a weakling I love spicy everything’s spicy fuck not spicy” which is the reality for most morons.

6·4 months agoI remember those pre-SSD days! If I spin up a minimum specs VM, it’s kinda like that (which I did at least five times over the weekend). Nowadays you can load Windows pretty fast. Updates might take 10 minutes though!

linuxmemes@lemmy.world•Not paying attention in the Grub menu
2·4 months agoNo more updates might be ok now, but as soon as someone finds a security vulnerability, it ain’t getting patched. Maybe if it’s dire enough. Someone should put together a script to modify the registry for an easy v11 update path.
