I recently got over my Daddy issues. This song is about how you never know what someone else has been through in their life, even if they are family. I can now forgive my Dad for living in a hypnotised survival state throughout his time as a Father, thanks to communication and understanding the past.
This track is an anthem of empathy to break generational cycles.
