W133 welcomes Amsterdam duo Helle into its catalogue. Helle is the collaboration of Luuka and Menke Felix, who have been producing, performing, and releasing music for several years. They merge the propelling drive of techno with a deep love for dub, bass, and break-heavy music, expressed through energetic live shows and dj sets. This signature sound forms the core of their new Cold Feet EP. Along with 3 originals we invited Ambu Bambu for a remix. The Utrecht based artist uses their studio as a playground for exploring darker sounds; painting up warped breaks, bass-heavy trips, and dizzying rhythms in a signature sound.

First tune of the EP is „Wobbly Walls“. The name is program, a 4/4 techer with wobbling deep frequencies, insanely catchy basslines, venomous stabs and weird little synth nuggets! We love it!
Up next we have „Freeform Objects“. The groover rolls slowly introducing some tension-building machine growls while constantly rolling along. Last original and title-giving number of the EP is “Cold Feet”.
The defined perc work and mysterious bassline set the tone with squeaky suspenseful textures and FX zoning in and out. To complete the EP Helle invited their friend and also Amsterdam local Ambu Bambu to do a remix. They deliver an even dirtier and breakier version of Cold Feet. The driving kick and bass push through the suspenseful textures from the original and make it a perfect tool for the darker moments on the dancefloor.

The release will be out on 12.6. on all digital platforms featuring an artwork photograph by Philipp Roth.
