A date at the cemetery with a kind stranger… what could possibly go wrong? After all, he promised it would be a night to die for.
Sometimes, dating in Colorado felt harder than it had any right to be. You’d searched in places no one should ever have to search, like speed dating with a guy who looked twice your age or the endless void of dead-end dating apps.
You had tried everything! And were almost ready to give up. That was… until that night. Some overrated, overpriced warehouse party with bad lighting and ear-deafening music. Sure, it wasn’t exactly your scene, but your friends had practically dragged you there. And after a messy breakup and faaaaar too many nights spent single….you were getting desperate.
And that’s how you met Avon…

> Unfortunately, I don't have a set date as I primarily work on this game on my own between Uni and work. However, Chapter 2 will be coming out early to mid next year :).

Loved this game!! the first time I played it was a while back, this time I chose the answers that in said situation I'd choose (I was certain I'd die again, but I lived, am I a charmer or what). I love Avon, but I also wanna strangle him for killing that cat, that being said I can't wait to see how the story progresses <3

i read about the animal death and mentions of a cat in the comments. before i commit to trying this game, id like to know if theres any mentions or depictions of cats specifically being killed/dead, and if so, how graphic/detailed its going to be. because i have severe trauma regarding that and it WILL trigger me if i happen upon it, so.

I went from thinking he's a goth, to an edgelord, to a sociopath hahaha. I'm glad I wasn't there. MC has a better poker face. We can't really ask him about his long history of manipulating others. Or, at least, I couldn't in my first route so far.
Some people say he's traumadumping for an hour. I think it's worse than that. It's an exercise in slowly cooking the frog to see when it might jump. He's acting like someone with no social skills: we know he's a skilled manipulator. It's a front. He knows exactly what buttons he's pressing. He WANTS a honest reaction after wearing us emotionally down.
All around, it felt less like a date than an interview to become a corpse. I didn't get to see what kind of yandere he is yet. Or what triggers him, though. It's definitely a horror game. I just don't understand how MC isn't deeply vary of him by the end of it. Maybe I didn't make enough choices to condemn his actions.
Okay, I've had a surpringly hard time trying to bait him into killing me. Lock in, dude /j. Maybe he's less into murder than I thought. Reactive after all, maybe? Or killing as stress relief. Might be why he loves MC to death in that one ending, he doesn't cope well with intense emotions. And then he still struggled to let them go. I have to wonder if he'll ever regret it.

This was a really interesting game! It's so lovely to see a brown skinned love interest, even if Avon needs to be in a institutuon. At first I was thinking "I need to get out of here this man is crazy and also an edgelord. He don't wanna be saved don't save him." And that was ABSOLUTELY proven right with ending 3. But ending 4 made me think "maybe with some medications, a LOT of therapy, holy water, and a psychotic conversion program we can be friends." Praying I don't cause MC to die again next chapter . Thank you for the amazing work!

the game is actually really good and avon is hot as fuck, but the mc is just... STUPID. like, it didnt feel like me at all. its def a personal preference, its just that i felt like none of the options fully fit me in a lot of cases, and also not telling anyone where u were going ??? hell nah. i mean yeah it was necessary for him to be unescapable at the end and definitely added to the sense of dread, but i felt persistently ragebaited by mc lol. i also found him to be really, really edgy, but i think it fits him amazingly so i like that. the cat thing was a great addition. ive known real ppl like him and i think he was written amazingly. his monologues about his friends had me hooked as well, i love that we got an insight as to whats going on in his head and why he is the way he is. in many other vns i played, that doesnt happen, and it leaves me feeling like im missing a part of the story. i hope we get to know more about his dads cult in the next chapters, or more about his religion, since that stuff really interests me. overall, hes a very well developed character, not a one dumb dimensional spooky killer, amazing work. i only got 1 ending so far, the one where he hated me to death, but i can confidently say that the game is really damn good :3

In all seriousness though, I like how he's not completely one-dimensional. Like by all of the details about his life he told us about- We can tell how he became the way he is today. "You are to surround yourself with." I truly love how you can see that quote in action. Whether it's with him, his friends, or family. Heavy on his friends though. Can't wait for the next update. Hopefully you have fun making it!
Okay. Ooookaaaay, so:
I've played and at first got the "next date" ending (wich would be the "good ending" e think(??)) but, honestly? I would ghost the fuck out of this man, cause it's clear how he tries to manipulate the player, he killed a fucking cat, confessed to almost murdering a "friend" and made it pretty clear that his "friend's " were mere toys for him. But, oh well, it's just a game. I would have been killed the second I've saw it was at the cemetery because i would not, in a million years, have a date with a guy i knew two days ago in a isolated space.
Nonetheless, love this game. I usually get bored when there's too mutch dialogue but, i was intrigued and wanted to know more about him. Amazing art's, good character development, good character concept, music and sounds on point. Love it! <3

Loved that he is an actual complex character that we can get to know so deeply, even though i wished there was a lil bit less yapping and a couple more desitions for us to interact with him, its still very cool and thoughtful the way you made a realistic, non acceptable bad person, the charm he used to hide his real self, the manipulative attitude, the way he subtly tested us to see if we were entertaining to him, all of that stuff is sooo on point. I got third end first,but then i got the fourth one and honestly? I got kind of confused lmao, from my perspective the end in which he killed us because he hated us was kind of what one would expect, but him killing us because he "loved us to death" was very original, didnt expect that at all. I still wonder if theres like a deeper explanation behind his desition, he killed us because he thought we were sugarcoating him and being fake, or because the only way he had to keep us with him forever is by killing us? Anyways,ill wait for new chapters, good job creator! Im looking forward to it ^^
agree, I sadly find myself bored sometimes with the amonts of monologues doesn't make it less pleasante and relaxing but the lack of interaction sometimes make it more difficult to bond and connect with him. I didn't unlock all the end but your comment kinda motive me to look for them

edit 6: The artwork in this is friggin gorgeous and the CG's have me in loveeee with this man and I love that i got ending 3/4! Imma replay but i feel so bad doing the other options T_T
final edit: i truly enjoyed this game, the writing, artwork, how this was man was genuinely a bad guy and not 'socially acceptable fictional bad'. Everything about this was incredibly delightful
