about

Between late 2022 and the spring of 2024, Chow recorded 20 tracks at Slack! Blue Audio with Yuri “Pelarino” Pierini, riding the wave of a creative surge sparked in the wake of the pandemic: seven of these tracks ended up on *Eternal Lopez*—released via Venti3 in 2025—while one track you will never hear! The remaining twelve songs are on this release, *The Husband’s Delight*. The sound is simple yet intricate—essentially rock ’n’ roll, though occasionally daring to look beyond those boundaries: punk rock laced with psychedelia and permeated by an undying love for Hüsker Dü, The Wipers, and Screaming Trees. Yet, its roots remain firmly planted in late-’60s Detroit and the grooves of the first ten volumes of the *Pebbles* compilation series, all while displaying enough disregard for danger to embrace even the most gratuitously flannel-clad iterations of the Seattle sound. Featuring eleven original compositions and one cover, the album embodies a brand of rock ’n’ roll described as “solid as a mid-table team in Serie B: no airs or graces, just small-town grit and makeshift pitches, pure tenacity and passion” (Vasco Viviani, Sodapop).

We Were Never Being Boring Collective Italy

We want music to never turn into something boring for us. It would mean that we have become boring. Because music does not die with mp3′s or copyright: boredom is what brings it down, when it becomes a habit. All we need is a small do-it-yourself collective, as tiny as a simple smile. ... more
