Bringing AlterCOP to Australia: A Climate Movement for All
The AlterCOP Global Core Team is delighted to have worked with People For Nature in 2025 to bring AlterCOP's vision to Australia, empowering local sustainability actions and partnerships.
Running alongside the United Nations (UN) COP30 agenda, the 2025 event fostered grassroots ownership of global climate goals and increased local and regional engagement across Australia. While the main event was hosted in Brisbane, satellite events also took place in other parts of the country.
