00:00How are you enjoying the pre-season and what are the key things you've been trying to achieve so far?

00:06I'm enjoying it a lot.

00:09The pitches are great.

00:11The boys are full of energy.

00:13Pep and Jurgen already said to me last season that I'm going to enjoy working with them

00:18and they haven't lied at all.

00:20Full of energy. Also the youngsters coming from the academy,

00:23they have the same intensity.

00:25And the guys are open to learn.

00:28And the way I see it, the way I feel it, is that they enjoy them as well.

00:33The three most important ingredients.

00:36You touched on it there, but you already knew a lot about this squad and the quality within it.

00:40Are you seeing that on the pitch? Are you seeing those signs already?

00:43Yes, I'm seeing it, but honestly I think the most players that are here at the moment

00:50are coming from the under-21s and I have to give them a compliment

00:54because they are full of energy.

00:56They like to press, like to counter-press.

00:59So they've been taught really well, is that the right word to use?

01:03And the ones that are here from the first team are giving the right example to the youngsters.

01:08So it's been a joy to work with them in the first week.

01:11We've got Watte and Mo back with the squad now.

01:13It must be nice to have added them in.

01:15What's the plan for them over the next few days and weeks

01:18and integrating them with the other players?

01:21Mo came back strong, so he's really fit.

01:26That's what he's always been, but it's the same this year.

01:30What you want from them is, like I said just a second ago,

01:34set the example for the youngsters as well.

01:36For them it's very important, just like the other ones from the first team,

01:40that they stay fit.

01:42Like I said, they are full of energy and that's the most important thing at the moment.

01:47Keep them fit, build it up from there and try to learn them as much as we can.

01:53In terms of your coaching staff, we've got Fabian now here with the goalkeeping department.

01:57How nice to have him actually with us now after the Copa America?

02:00Yeah, he also had a tournament.

02:02He was with the USA team.

02:04Unfortunately for him, they went out of the tournament.

02:09I gave him a few weeks off, but he said,

02:12no, I want to come as soon as I can.

02:14So he's already in now, after one week of holiday,

02:17and I think that is what you like to see.

02:20Although having a holiday is important as well,

02:22but you like to see staff members, players,

02:25that they want to come in as early as they can to join the team

02:28and help us for hopefully a very good season.

02:31And just finally on that note, Aaron, as well as the fourth new staff member,

02:35who's now confirmed as part of your team.

02:37Could you just tell us what you see his role and what you're expecting from him in the set-up?

02:42I don't know if it's the exact right word to use in English,

02:45but he's most importantly finding the bridge between the youth academy and the first team,

02:50doing a lot of one-on-one meetings with the players as well,

02:53and of course help us during the training sessions.

02:55So he's just a member of our staff,

02:57maybe a bit more focused to the players that are in between,

03:00and the 21 and the first team.

03:02But he has an analyst background as well,

03:06as well as being an assistant coach.

03:09So we're going to use him in every department.
