Scared Foster Puppies Love Their Golden Retriever Grandpa

These foster puppies were too scared to walk inside — until they met their golden retriever grandpa

00:00They stood at the door and quickly ran out.

00:07Jimmy, Jimmy, Jimmy, Paigey, you can come inside.

00:16They'd look in.

00:19Good girl, there's a little one.

00:24Good girl.

00:26Come on, you can come in.

00:28I sat and I waited.

00:32Come on, come on.

00:34Eventually I got them inside.

00:39I got a message in one of my community groups that a man spotted two puppies who were abandoned and asked if anyone knew what to do.

00:46I put them into my car.

00:50My biggest worry was that they were sick with something and unfortunately I was correct.

00:56We put them into ICU.

00:59I sat with them every day for six days.

01:03They are microchips, but the microchips weren't registered.

01:07What are you doing? Are you hiding under your mother?

01:13It was the hardest six days of my entire life.

01:18It was an emotional rollercoaster.

01:29The vets sent me some messages that they were finally okay and that I can go pick them up.

01:33They had made it through out to the other side.

01:38Of course I just burst into tears when I say I've never wanted something more.

01:46They got home and that started a whole new chapter.

01:56They were so attached to Miles, who is my bigger dog.

02:07Miles was extraordinary with them.

02:24I already have two dogs and a very busy life so I couldn't keep them.

02:37I found a great family for them both so that they can stay together.

02:41I was just crying so much.

02:43They kept their names, which is just amazing.

02:50They're their little baby.
