00:01When I first picked Daphne up, she was completely shut down.

00:04She was scared of being touched by humans.

00:07It's okay. It's okay.

00:09I got her. We're going home.

00:11You're okay.

00:14She didn't want to move. She didn't want to even take a step.

00:18She just sat in a corner, shaking and scared of everything.

00:23You could tell she was potentially abused by humans at some point because a puppy her age should never be that scared of humans.

00:44The first couple of days, I just kind of let her do her thing.

00:48I let her sleep because she probably hadn't gotten a lot of good sleep.

01:03So I slowly started to introduce her to my five dogs.

01:11I realized dogs make her happy.

01:14That is what really helped her start coming out of her shell.

01:17One of the biggest milestones, my husband and I are sitting on the stairs and she's like giving us a hug.

01:22I almost felt like that was her being like, I trust you guys. I can't believe I'm crying.

01:34Hey, you're not supposed to be on this bed.

01:38Her personality has come out. My dog gave her the confidence to be the dog she is now.
