00:00President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. believes the government is taking the right path when

00:05it comes to addressing the country's hunger problem.

00:08In fact, the leader of the land says his administration is on track to effectively help Filipinos who

00:14are experiencing food poverty.

00:17Data showed from one million, food for families went down by 300,000, which can be primarily

00:23attributed to the Marcos administration's food stamp program.

00:27Because of this, the government eyes to cover an additional 300,000 household beneficiaries

00:33next year, and another 400,000 by 2026, which will be implemented in 10 regions and 22 provinces.

00:41More than 182,700 have been verified, nearly 90,000 of whom have benefited from the flagship

00:48program on hunger thus far.
