00:25Now Daniel Jones hasn't been awful this year.

00:28He hasn't been great.

00:29Here are the numbers.

00:30Nothing really to be like, oh my God, that's a hornet.

00:34I can't even put my eyes are bleeding looking at that, but

00:37it's not great.

00:37It's about what Daniel Jones is.

00:40The issue is for the New York Giants giving him the contract

00:44extension.

00:44The only good thing Joe about that contract extension awarded

00:48by Joe Shane and Brian Dayball enough to pay him after leading

00:53New York to a playoff win two years ago now in 2022 was the

00:58fact it was front-loaded.

00:59All the guaranteed money is done after this year.

01:03Thus your escape hatch to get out buy or sell Daniel Jones

01:08has played his final snap for the New York Giants.

01:12I don't know that he's played the final snap because it's

01:16not like you have his heir apparent behind you and you know,

01:20the thing with Daniel Jones and I think you said it there.

01:23It's not that he's been playing terrible.

01:27The problem is the Giants and I don't think they ever have

01:30they've never actually won games because of him.

01:34They've won games in spite of him, but they he's never really

01:38been the guy that kind of elevated the team put him on his

01:41back here.

01:42They have figured out ways to win games in other Avenues,

01:47right?

01:48And at this point, what what are you going to replace them

01:51with through lot?

01:52We already know that's not the answer.

01:54So you're already paying them.

01:56You're going to take not a crazy financial hit next year.

01:59I think if they release him, it's not a terrible hit.

02:03So I want if he's healthy you play him until he's not healthy

02:07or can't play and then you just reevaluate.

02:09I mean the Giants are getting worse in other Avenues, not

02:13just the quarterback position as well, which is a reflection

02:16on table.

02:17Yeah, absolutely.

02:19And again Joe the question for the Giants is more than likely

02:21going to be what are they going to do with the GM and coaching

02:25staff that will draft the next quarterback because they are

02:28right.

02:28It's almost like the Mike McCarthy situation a lame duck

02:31QB in Daniel Jones.

02:33Drew Locke is not your answer.

02:35He could be a band-aid but a band-aid for what?

02:38It's not like you're going to make the postseason with this

02:40current team right now.

02:41Your focus is on the future and frankly Joe, although nobody

02:44would admit it out loud.

02:46The Giants should be losing games to better their draft

02:49position to be in the top five to picture it or Sanders or

02:52Quinn Ewers or whoever that top prospect is deemed to be for

02:56the New York Giants.

02:58So I'm not really sure Daniel Jones has played his last snap.
