00:00Yesterday, we follow up on a tweet from Adam Schefter that states, more change in New York.

00:08Jets now have fired general manager Joe Douglas, sources tell ESPN.

00:12Last month, head coach Robert Salah, now Douglas.

00:14It's a complete reboot for the Jets.

00:17Let's start here.

00:19Joe Douglas being removed mid-season for the Jets, Dubsy.

00:22In your mind, does that make any difference here on this complete reboot to get it started?

00:27No, absolutely not.

00:29I don't agree with the firing.

00:31I don't agree with the timing.

00:33I mean, this has been a disaster, a sinking ship to say the least.

00:37And you look at some of the weapons and some of the achievements that we've seen from Douglas.

00:41I mean, there's some really skilled and talented young players on that Jets roster.

00:46Why are they not winning?

00:47Well, there's a myriad of reasons.

00:50You look at the quarterback turnover since 2019, they've had eight different starting quarterbacks.

00:55That's been a disaster.

00:56Robert Salah, I didn't think much of him as a head coach.

00:59And what do we make of Aaron Rodgers?

01:01I mean, he was returning this season at 40 years of age.

01:04He missed last year.

01:05You look at the three years prior to that, every single key metric was trending in the wrong direction.

01:11The only number that was going up was the interceptions.

01:14And they've continued to come up with these Band-Aid fixes this season,

01:19bringing across every weapon and every friend that Aaron Rodgers could find.

01:23And it hasn't worked out.

01:24And imagine the pressure in this locker room, Donnie, and how toxic the environment would be.

01:29Everyone's walking on eggshells.

01:31This may not be the last piece to fall for the Jets going into the back half of the year.

01:35So for Douglas and what we have seen since 2019, I don't think it's been the worst record for a GM.

01:42I know it hasn't been a winning season with him since that tenure.

01:46But I mean, I tell you what, I think there's a couple other people who need to have a hard look at themselves in the mirror

01:52and try and explain why the Jets season hasn't fared so well.

01:56So I don't agree with the timing.

01:57I don't agree with the move, Donnie, and obviously not big on the Jets.

02:01Nine and a half was their win total.
