How visible are police officers in your community, and do you think their presence makes a difference? How confident in Keir Starmer’s government to make positive change when it comes to policing crime?

00:00To be honest with you, I feel sorry for the police sometimes because you see the gangs and kids are hanging around now

00:05and what they get up to and that, but I don't see many police at all, very little on the beat.

00:11Normally, on an average weekday, you don't, which is a shame because I think there'd be a real show in presence.

00:18You don't see anyone, you know, and that's a crime really.

00:25If he says what he's going to do on the police, are the people going to believe him?

00:28Because he hasn't delivered what he said he was going to do at the start. He's failed right away.

00:34Well, he was Director of Public Prosecutions, wasn't he, so he's got some history to it.

00:39But actions speak louder than words, don't they?

00:42And so far, I think most people would say it's not quite what they voted for.

00:48I'm not confident in him when I alter him, you know.

00:53Because he's not for the working class, they're not for it, are they?
