00:00everything is going well so far our officers are on the ground and all polling stations are manned

00:14popular by the police officers i visited one or two of these stations spoke to the

00:19presiding officers and they said everything is going well so far the unc leader told us

00:24a short while ago that people have been engaging in voter bribery in the peruca area

00:29and she is warning that that carries um persecution by the police have you all received any such reports

00:34we haven't received such report whatever if there's a a case like that of course definitely we will

00:40investigate um because you know there are certain offenses during between the hours of 6 a.m and 6

00:45p.m so if that is the case and persons come forward definitely we'll investigate those matters we would

00:51have seen in the moroga table a marginal two police killings last week is that area of particular

00:56concern and what's taking place anything special in that area in terms of police force well yes we

01:01we have a very um potent presence in that area based on um what happened friday so we're not taking

01:08anything for granted so we would have um increased the number of officers that we usually usually will

01:13have in that area so there's a heavy police presence down there as we speak everything is in order we are

01:20as we trying to make a police service we our job is to make sure that everything is done safely and

01:26as we speak persons can come out and vote because police officers we are here on the ground and we

01:34give them the assurance that everything will be safe and some um till the end of polling which is at 6 p.m
