00:00We must end the scourge of violence against women.

00:03It is too many tragedies.

00:06One death is too many.

00:07I am proud to say that if we are re-elected,

00:11we'll build on the investments that we've already made,

00:13$1.2 billion in emergency and transitional accommodation

00:18for women and children escaping domestic violence.

00:23Some of that is through the Housing Australia Future Fund,

00:26which we know was inexplicably held up by the no-elition,

00:31the Liberals, the Nationals and the Greens in the Senate

00:34holding up that investment that should have been rolling out.

00:39But now we've seen this morning from the housing organisation here,

00:45they're benefiting from the Housing Australia Future Fund.
