00:15As the newly appointed Minister of Health, I want to first express my deepest sympathies to the families affected by the tragic loss of their babies in April 2024.
00:24Since assuming office, I have requested a full briefing on the incident, and I've also asked for legal guidance on the current status of the matter before the courts.
00:33Ultimately, our priority is to ensure that our healthcare system learns from this tragedy and put systems in place to prevent any recurrence, end quote.
