The third televised debate on whether Taiwan should bring back one of its retired nuclear power plants was held on Monday. This time, debaters from both sides focused on the risks of earthquakes to cause nuclear disasters.

00:49questioned the scientific backing of Gann's claims and says the structure has been strengthened according to international standards.
00:56Two more debates involving lawmakers, activists, and a tech industry leader will take place this week ahead of the August 23rd referendum.
