00:00Well, hello designers!
00:16Wow, that was quite a finale wasn't it?
00:20We've seen Anthony win Project Runway Australia Season 2.
00:24We're going to get him out here and just
00:30a minute but let's have a little catch up first.
00:32Michael, I know that you've been watching the show.
00:36Of course.
00:37There seems to be a Facebook entry every time someone mentions your name.
00:41Do you just constantly sit on Facebook and respond to people?
00:44Well, there's not much else to do in Mackay really.
00:46So, my only social life is online, as sad as that is.
00:51How is it coming back and seeing everyone after, you know,
00:54you guys all know now what he's been saying about you?
00:57I'd have my phone next to me and I'd text him,
01:00you effing bastard!
01:03Yopi, what was it like watching yourself on TV every week?
01:07Well, I pretty much watched it like this for the whole time
01:11and my partner would bury his head in the pillow and go,
01:15Yopi, what would you say that for?
01:17Lauren, you've certainly given it everything you've had
01:20in the last couple of weeks.
01:21Yeah.
01:22Very, very worthy finalist.
01:23Well done.
01:25That's really sweet.
01:28Thanks, everyone.
01:29How did you find the whole experience, Lauren?
01:32Amazing.
01:33It's really hard to put into words how you find this
01:36and I found I grew throughout Project Runway
01:39and it gave me a bit more confidence with myself as a designer.
01:42I just kept getting stronger and stronger every week.
01:44You certainly did.
01:45It was brilliant.
01:46Loved it.
01:47William, would it be fair to say that the last three finalists
01:50were like a family?
01:52Completely.
01:53Completely.
01:54We're all very competitive but we completely love
01:57and respect each other.
01:58I mean, I know you want to see bitching and scratching but...
02:00Oh, we got plenty of that.
02:01Yeah, yeah.
02:02I mean, I just did it because it was fun, not because I,
02:04you know...
02:05It is always fun.
02:06It is always fun.
02:07Not to rip someone down but just kiss.
02:08I was a little bored.
02:09Do you think you were all supportive of each other?
02:14No, not everybody.
02:16I got some mixed responses there.
02:19Now there's another person who must seem like he's part of the family.
02:23He's been with you every step of the way.
02:26Your mentor, the very caring and sharing, Henry Roth.
02:32Mentor man to the rescue.
02:38Hello, designers.
02:40Hello.
02:41Well, obviously, Christie, here we are and it was always interesting
02:47in every single challenge to see this group of designers
02:52really take that bar and throw it as high as they could.
02:56He's been telling you what to do most of the time
02:58or giving you his input.
03:00Have you got any input for Henry or any questions?
03:03Does it hurt when you sit still?
03:06Does it hurt when I sit still?
03:08I'm not good at sitting still.
03:09I'm actually not good at not being active.
03:11I can actually confirm that I used to live upstairs from here.
03:14That's right.
03:15You're the only person I know who actually talks more and faster
03:17and more often than me.
03:19So you're saying slow it down?
03:22Never.
03:23No, whatever, give me some more stuff.
03:26And you wanted us to have the best that we could on the catwalk
03:30because you knew we were getting judged and you just wanted to improve us
03:33as we went along, which was really important to us, I think.
03:36And I think what I liked the most is you could spot when people were getting a bit
03:40and you'd literally give us a verbal kick in the arse.
03:43And I know you did it for me.
03:44And me.
03:45Yeah, and it kind of saved my arse.
03:48Well, it's great being here all together, but there is one person missing.
03:53He's just been named the winner of Project Runway Australia.
03:57Yes!

04:50Woo!
04:51Woo!
04:52he's completely over the top all of the time. He just does incredible work. You
05:00can see he's got a lot happening in that design mind of his. And he pushes himself
05:05to do something different every single week. It's like Mad Max meets Alice in
05:10Wonderland. He has got this crazy aesthetic and he nails it every time.
05:15Congratulations to Anthony. And now for the winner of this challenge.
05:21Anthony Nirvana. Congratulations to Anthony. What was your thinking behind having a male
05:33model when the brief was all female? I wear women's clothing myself and I don't think
05:37you need to pigeonhole it into gender specific. I really like the fact that he
05:42took that risk because it could have really not worked for him but it so did.
05:46I want that jacket. Get in line honey. I love Anthony. He's so hot right now.
05:51The secret weapon I have is my talent. That's not really secret actually.
05:57How does it feel to be crowned the winner? Amazing. I honestly didn't expect it and it
06:11was just amazing to be in this company because the standard was so high this year. I think we had
06:17such unique style our own all three of us so it was really tough the whole way. Really really tough.
06:23Do you think that by all the standards being so high that really made you lift?
06:27I think so. I think you had to. It's a competition and there wasn't time to play it safe really. You just had to keep pushing yourself and
06:33you know these two and like everyone was amazing. It was really a great experience.
06:38Next on Project Runway Australia. Keppy do you have anything to say for yourself?
06:51Oh my god my mum is going to freak.
06:57There's no laughing now.
07:01Act time.
07:03I need to so improve.
07:05So it's boop boop boop.
07:08That's bloody bloody.
07:10I've got just as much boop as my model has.
07:12Why don't you all piss off?
07:14At least the judges all remember me. If not actually like the dress.
07:21That's fantastic.
07:25Mark you were quite the entertainer.
07:28I think I was possessed.
07:31Mark do you think your friends and family think we've captured the real Mark on the show?
07:36I'm not sure after seeing that clip. Wow. I just had fun.
07:41No but I think all of us were we had so much fun throughout and obviously that clip kind
07:47of showed Mark in his own little fun world.
07:49Whatever we said bitchy about other people's outfits we actually said to their face as well.
07:53So we just repeated it when it came to interviews just to make sure that they heard it the second
07:58time around.
08:00What's been the reaction to you guys being on Project Runway? Jason?
08:03It's projected my career to a new level and I've got a newfound enthusiasm and passion for
08:10my work.
08:12Fantastic.
08:13Good on you.
08:14Great.
08:15Claudia, how's things been for you?
08:17Things have been awesome. I'm flat out at the moment like I'm recreating and rejuvenating
08:24my own label and I'm studying as well so I'm doing my Cert 4 so that I can start teaching
08:29and I wouldn't have thought to teach until I did this show and I really like the idea of
08:34you know going down that road.
08:36Kellyanne, have things changed for you?
08:38A little bit yes, a little bit no. I don't know. It's very strange kind of being recognised
08:43and apparently I'm funny. I wasn't really quite aware of that and apparently I do lots
08:48of really weird looks. I was totally okay with being kind of cast as the token loudmouth
08:52fat chick and I like that.
08:53You're not.
08:54Oh I totally am. I'm so fine with that.
08:56What did you say? That was the price to pay for having great tits.
08:59Michael, have you got a hair sponsor? Life changed.
09:02I want to be the next guy on the commercial where he snatches the shampoo off the shelf
09:07and says that's not for you that's only for professionals. The Tresemme. I want to be him. So.
09:14I love my hair.
09:17It has it's own personality. All the girls are totally jealous.
09:22I'm like looking at Michael and I'm just like look at your girls.
09:25I had instant hair envy. That boy has better hair than us girls.
09:30I said keep up and we left behind. Michael's hair like he's obsessed by it.
09:35I've got my wind in my hair. I'm just looking to the left, looking to the right. Just a flick.
09:40We call him Tresemme. Sort of want it like this but a bit messier.
09:45Michael Tresemme. Oh he's so talented with his hair.
09:49I don't know how I feel about a boy who's far far far prettier than I am.
09:53He's such a girl.
09:55I've got great hair.
10:02Oh Michael. Oh my goodness.
10:06My favourite comment about Michael is he said I can't wait to grow my hair really long so it's ladylike.
10:13I don't think my face dropped and I'm like I think you've achieved it.
10:17But I would love to think that my designs got as much attention as my bloody hair did.
10:21Oh they did. Because it seemed to get a lot of attention.
10:24Yopi. You're sitting there all sweet and demure.
10:30But you certainly weren't that way on the show.
10:33Oh no.
10:34I'm going to win Project Runway because I'm fucking good.
10:39What?
10:40Stitch the bitch in.
10:42Even though I fucked this up I'll call you Willy.
10:45Willy's good.
10:46Willy's good? I know. I know Willy's good.
10:49What do you think Willy? Is that nice and raunchy?
10:52I don't like going slutty but I know I'm a hussy sometimes.
10:55You touch your bike.
10:57Sorry that was inappropriate.
10:59I'm horny. Horny horny.
11:01Sorry.
11:02Kellyann this is serious.
11:03Sorry I know it's serious.
11:04What do you think about John's crutch?
11:05I've been just too busy piss farting around.
11:08Can you grab my crutch?
11:09No not my crutch. My crutch is literally piss farting around.
11:14I so want to swear right now.
11:17Oh my god.
11:19Oh my god.
11:21Oh my god.
11:22Shit.
11:23Shit.
11:24Shit.
11:25Oh my god Willy I've really fucked it up.
11:28Sorry that's not really me. I don't normally swear like that.
11:32Yopi. You're out.
11:37I so wanted to win. Fuck.
11:41Oh my god my mum is going to freak.
11:55Yopi do you have anything to say for yourself?
11:57Without the F word.
11:59Oh my god.
12:00Oh my god.
12:01I have had a fantastic time.
12:05One of the first things that I said was I'm going to have fun.
12:08So.
12:09And I met the most amazing people and which is what I wanted to do so.
12:14And he's making me cry because he's looking at me all teary.
12:16It was amazing.
12:20What I want to know is has Project Runway Australia helped you in your career?
12:25It has.
12:26It's given me the confidence to do what I love best.
12:29So I've taken the next step and started progressing with my label and set up my whole house as a workshop, as a studio.
12:39Wow.
12:40Well Yopi dished it out to a few of you but she seemed to have a special affection for you William.
12:47As did a lot of our viewers.
12:49I think we know the reasons why.
12:52Don't cry.
12:53I'm not.
12:54He's like the father in the house.
12:57When I'm stressed he calms me down.
12:59Check it out.
13:00And I love his design.
13:02Will is always a force to be reckoned with so you never know how amazing his is going to look.
13:08I think your attention to detail is fantastic.
13:11It's very sweet and it's sexy.
13:15William, you are the winner of this challenge.
13:18I don't really know if anyone was pissed off that I won but...
13:21Too bad.
13:23Congratulations to the Lion Team.
13:27We were extremely impressed.
13:29William, you are the winner of this challenge.
13:34William's work is really delicate and really involved.
13:38That boy flips me out.
13:40He's just amazing.
13:41William's just fantastic.
13:43I love him.
13:44He's so good.
13:45Shit.
13:46He's so fantastic though.
13:47My fashion style is a little bit nostalgic but very current.
13:55And with a twisted sense of humour.
13:57Hello.
13:58I just come back from Airs Ruff.
14:00How are you?
14:01You look very happy up there.
14:03Hello.
14:04I'm very happy.
14:05I think he's a fabulous character.
14:07I love him.
14:08I think he's fantastic.
14:09This is Lauren.
14:10William's very direct.
14:12Honest.
14:13Very funny.
14:14What are you trying to do?
14:15It's the biggest hole ever.
14:18William's going to take it off.
14:20Well, I've already got the meggings off.
14:22Will has got the hottest legs in the workroom.
14:25You guys have got to see this.
14:27So it's no surprise that he wants to get his sexy pins out.
14:31Work a little harder, bitches.
14:33I love you.
14:36William, did that reflect how you felt about your time here?
14:39Completely.
14:40I didn't really have a lot of expectations when I came in
14:42because I was a bit of a blank slate and other than wanting to win.
14:47But I wanted to have fun because I thought there's no point doing this if you're not going to have fun.
14:51And I don't want to step over people on the way to get there.
14:55And we didn't because we helped each other.
14:58And I was completely myself.
14:59So when I watch myself, I don't cringe.
15:01I just laugh thinking, I don't realize how actually completely honest I am.
15:07Between here and here, there's no stopping you.
15:10No censor.
15:11Yeah, there's no censor.
15:12Well, William, you were part of our very fabulous final three.
15:17And you should be very proud of yourself.
15:18Absolutely.
15:23Next, on Project Runway Australia.
15:25It was the look of...
15:26Hush!
15:36Guys, there seems to be a lot of love in the room now.
15:38Oh my God.
15:39But at times, you didn't seem to be quite so friendly.
15:43Oh my gosh.
15:45I'm scared.
15:46Baby cat spew up from both holes.
15:52It was really...
15:53It's pretty scary.
15:56Speaking of scary, look at this.
15:57It's like a Yeti.
15:58Some South Park.
15:59Cheers.
16:00Girls want to look sexy, not like beanbags.
16:06It ended up looking a bit sort of saloon girl.
16:13Something that walked out of a Chinese brothel.
16:17Jopi said that her outfit was for Sarah Jessica Parker.
16:20No.
16:21Honey, it's not.
16:22It's for a homeless person to eat.
16:27Is there anyone that has any apologies to make?
16:32No.
16:33No.
16:34No, we stand by what we said.
16:36Yeah.
16:37Brutally honest.
16:38Well, you were all critics at times.
16:42But there were two people who were your greatest critics.
16:46When you put your hearts and souls and busted zips on the runway.
16:52Sarah Gale and Jason Brunston.
16:55Anthony, I've been tipped off that you were always very worried about what Sarah would say.
17:14Petrified.
17:15Every time I was like, oh my God, Sarah Gale is going to see everything.
17:19And I was like, that was my main concern.
17:22More scary than Jason?
17:23Yep.
17:24I'm like, oh, he's gorgeous.
17:25That's okay.
17:26Sarah's beautiful but she's like so much harsher.
17:31You just have to wink at Jason.
17:34Hey Jason.
17:35Was I like that for all of you guys?
17:40Yeah.
17:41Oh God.
17:42But do you really think I was mean or was I constructive?
17:45You were just.
17:46No, you were just.
17:47Do you know what?
17:48It wasn't so much even what you said.
17:49It was the look of.
17:50The look.
17:51Yeah, it was more about the look.
17:53I laughed at when they actually did this.
17:56Oh God.
17:58Shit, you're dead.
18:00You guys stand up there and you do put your heart and soul on the line.
18:05And we love.
18:06Creaking at it.
18:08But seriously, if there's something that's not right, we wouldn't be doing our job if
18:13we didn't point it out.
18:15But I find it hilarious that you thought I was scary.
18:18I mean, I just don't see myself as scary.
18:20It's not as much as scary.
18:21It's kind of like flashback to when you were in elementary school.
18:24I know your teacher saying something that's sensible and that's constructive.
18:27But you feel that big when they kind of point it out.
18:29And it's like, you should have known that.
18:31And it's like, you've got the power.
18:33Oh my gosh.
18:34Did you find Jason scary at all?
18:36Best line was Highland thing on acid.
18:38Amazing.
18:39Or Lady Gaga wouldn't even go near that.
18:43Did you ever want to shut any designers up?
18:47Because we'll stand there going, okay.
18:48Did you actually just want to get up on that runway and choke them like we did?
18:51I'm sorry, Kellyanne, but there were a couple of moments where I was like,
18:54is she just going to finish?
18:56Because the editing is going to be really hard.
18:59There were a few of you and we did just want to do zip.
19:02Everybody that's watched it said, your faces, you guys are so mean.
19:05I said, but you don't understand.
19:06We're standing there for 55 minutes listening to Ryan waffle on.
19:10About what?
19:11At one point, Christie went, you fell back off your chair.
19:16And she went like, oh my God.
19:19And I was going to walk down and just go, shut up.
19:21Like, that's it.
19:22I've had it.
19:23I think you were all a little guilty of that though.
19:25There's no laying blame on one person.
19:28We knew from week one that we had hit a group that could sew.
19:32It was like, oh my gosh, these finishes are amazing.
19:37So we were, I was anyway, in awe of what you were all doing.
19:41It was quite extraordinary.
19:42So that's why you were a little picky then about certain things.
19:44Because you couldn't find anything major.
19:46Well, I wanted to make sure you were at your absolute best.
19:50Whether it was good or bad, if it wasn't exactly what we asked for in the challenge, you're gone.
19:56Exactly.
19:57Very challenging.
19:58I think the thing I've found is people go, oh, I actually expected a lot more from you.
20:01Like, particularly in the avant-garde one.
20:03And I'm like, I think people forget you have 15 minutes to choose your material.
20:07Your fabric.
20:08Yeah, the fabric is a big one.
20:09Well, it's very clear to all of us that you have been a fabulous group of designers.
20:15But none more fabulous than Anthony.
20:17Anthony, what do you plan to do now?
20:26Obviously, really going to be focusing on my collection for Rose Mountain Australian Fashion Week.
20:30That's going to be amazing.
20:31And just working with Simon Locke, getting that collection together will be incredible.
20:35So, definitely my focus.
20:37And just staying true to myself.
20:39And I hope from being on the show, people start dressing up a bit more in the street
20:44and having fun with the fashion and taking risks.
20:47Because it doesn't have to just be clothing.
20:49It doesn't have to be an ugly jacket.
20:51It can be something amazing.
20:53And yeah, take risks.
20:54So, that's sort of what I hope people take from it.
20:57Well, that's it for the second season of Project Runway Australia.
21:02And let's hear it one more time for our winner, Anthony.
21:10And I hope to see you all on the runway.
21:13Thanks, Christine.
21:23This Project Runway experience has been amazing.
21:26Working with other amazing designers has pushed my creativity to another level.
21:30It's going to be so exciting to see a full collection.
21:32It's going to be really exciting.
21:34It's really important.
21:35I can't wait.
21:36Yeah.
21:37Yeah, your work's just begun.
21:38I know.
21:41It's just the start of my career, so hopefully it only gets better from here.
21:45Congratulations, Christine.
21:46Thanks, Christine.
21:47So well.
21:48My final message to everyone out there is have fun with fashion and be fabulous.
21:53Happy.
