00:00Good morning. It's been a very wet start to September but Friday offers a respite.
00:06For most of us it's going to be a dry day and quite a few of us see some sunshine around as well.
00:11A bit fresher out there this morning compared to yesterday morning and we will see some clouds developing through the day.
00:16And it's not going to be completely dry. A few showers drifting into western parts of England, Wales, west coast of Scotland also.
00:23But most places, as I said, will be dry for much of the day. A mixture of sunshine and cloud by this afternoon.
00:30The wind's a lot lighter than they have been too, particularly so in the south.
00:33You will notice a warmer feel as a result. Temperatures touch above average here, 21, 22 Celsius in the sunny spells.
00:41Further north and west, high teens likely. And it will cloud over a little bit across the far northwest of Scotland as the breeze picks up here later on.
00:49That could provide a little bit of drizzly rain over the Western Isles as we head into this evening.
00:53But for most it will be a dry evening and a dry night too.
00:57Some showers could drift up from the south as we head through the early hours into parts of Northern Ireland, northwest England and perhaps southwest Scotland as well.
01:05But again, most places will have a dry night. Temperatures will again dip down into single figures in rural spots.
01:12Most towns and cities, 10 to 12 Celsius.
01:14So we start the weekends dry for the vast majority.
01:18Actually, most places will have a decent day on Saturday if you have to find weather.
01:22There will be a few showers, perhaps spreading north over Western Scotland, one or two for Northern Ireland, but somewhat hit and miss.
01:29Most places, certainly across eastern Scotland and England and Wales, will have a dry day.
01:33Quite a lot of cloud, as you can see, but it'll be kind of high cloud.
01:37So the sunshine fairly hazy, but a warmer feel.
01:42More widely, we'll get over 20 degrees Celsius, 21, 22, perhaps even 23 degrees across East Anglia and the southeast.
01:49And again, the wind's pretty light for most places.
01:52We are going to see a change, though, as we head through the second half of the weekend.
01:56Low pressure moving in, bringing some strong and gusty winds, particularly so in the west and maybe starting dry further east.
02:04But most places will see some rain during Sunday.
02:07And that warmer feel as well, making it pretty humid with the rain coming in during Sunday afternoon.
02:14For more details on that, you can catch our full weekend forecast with Honour.
02:18Of course, that's available on our YouTube channel.
