00:07Last week, you talked about you were frustrated that you guys didn't play the

00:10complete game.

00:11Today, you talked about how you were frustrated with the sort of a slower start

00:14with a game like Penn State next week.

00:16How do you make sure that you guys put together a full four, four, four, four

00:21full quarters together?

00:22Yeah, it's hard in football, right?

00:24It doesn't always go like that.

00:25So you got to go out there and prepare and practice like you wanted to look in

00:28a game.

00:29And there's going to be some highs and lows.

00:30There's going to be some ups and downs.

00:31It started off a little bit slower today, but it finished the way it's supposed

00:34to.

00:35But ultimately, you might not get those layups or those freebies later on in the

00:38season.

00:39So we got to start fast.

00:40That's important for us in the future.

00:42You're in the middle, Matt.

00:44You make up just Bryce's overall impact and the fingerprints maybe of the

00:48defensive play he had for you guys.

00:50Yeah.

00:50How many did he finish with?

00:51Ten tackles a day, right?

00:52I think he had like nine in the first half.

00:54So Bryce was hungry.

00:56He's passionate.

00:57You know, he wanted to go out there and there's some plays that he wants to have

01:00back, too.

01:00There's a couple of myths that I know he wants to have.

01:02But this game meant a lot to Bryce, probably as much as anybody on our team,

01:05just being here from Oregon.

01:07So proud that he's on our team, proud that we get to coach him and proud of his

01:10performance.

01:10Coach, congrats on the win.

01:16Mentally and emotionally, having a rivalry game before Penn State, one of the biggest

01:19games on the year on the calendar, how does that prepare your team and you mentally not

01:24only to perform on this game, but next week to make a statement nationally?

01:28Yeah, one game at a time.

01:29We had to focus on this game this week.

01:31I know they have a bye this week, so they were able to focus on us.

01:34But our focus was on Oregon State.

01:36But that's why we got to be able to flip the switch quick and move on and get ready for

01:39Penn State.

01:40Yeah.
