00:04They're seven and a half point favorites over the Pacers.
00:06And a total that's up a little bit from 229 and a half to 232 and a half.
00:10Why not?
00:10Look at some of those scores from last night.
00:12Everybody seeming like they're scoring here.
00:14Anticipated starting lineups here for OKC, SGA, Wallace, Dort, Holmgren, and Hartenstein.
00:19Then for the hometown team, the Pacers, Nembhard, Matherin, Neesmith, Siakam, and Jackson.
00:24Heavy favorite for those champs after a ring night victory just a few short nights ago.
00:30Yeah, but unfortunately, this will not resemble anything that we saw in the finals.
00:35It's still hard to believe that we got seven games last year.
00:38Again, with these two teams in the finals here.
00:41But obviously, the Pacers, no Tyrese Halliburton for most of the year.
00:46They lost Miles Turner to free agency.
00:48So while the Thunder will look very familiar, this Pacers team's got some figuring out to do.
00:54And yeah, this is going to be this could be a rough night for him to start the season.
00:58Yeah, interesting to see if Oklahoma City actually has anybody on a, you know, rest, you know, appearance.
01:04Hey, man, we just played two nights ago and opened up the season.
01:06Some of these guys already banged up out of shape.
01:09And we're going to have to have a minutes restriction on those guys.
01:11Hopefully not.
01:12But that line tells you Oklahoma City should be there to play and should win that basketball game.
01:16Late night action.
01:1610 o'clock start.
01:17The Denver Nuggets here.
01:19How about that?
01:19Get a look at the Nuggets going up against the Golden State Warriors who showed out on opening night
01:23and knocked off the Los Angeles Lakers.
01:24At home, the Warriors, a slight favorite.
01:27One and a half, two and a half, depending on where you're shopping at.
01:29And the total of 233 and a half.
01:32The old school Warriors at home against the Nuggets, Joe.
01:35What do you think with this light line?
01:37Yeah, this is going to be an interesting one, right?
01:39Nuggets, again, I think are completely undervalued.
01:43And it's hard to believe that that is the case here.
01:45But, hey, the Golden State Warriors, if they have the same kind of effort from Jimmy Butler and company there
01:53and Steph Curry that they did in game one, this is going to be a dogfight here.
01:59It feels like we might get a few more extra points here tonight than we got in game one with the Warriors.
02:04By the way, OKC, back-to-back stand-alone games here for the champions of the NBA.
02:10Ring night was good.
02:11They picked up against the Houston Rockets.
02:13We'll see if they can do the same.
02:14And also, getting that first look there at Nicola Jokic tonight and see how that one plays out.
02:18So, two good games on the docket tonight and then a full slate on a Friday, which, again, is a football Friday.
02:23By the way, Joe, how do we feel about some of these scores coming across the past couple nights in the NBA?
02:28It feels like get that dart out and throw it up against the wall, man.
02:31Well, yeah, it's an early season, not a lot of sacrificing of the body right now, Donnie.
02:37By the way, how about this next question here on this?
02:39LeBron James announces his retirement before the 2026-2027 season that starts, which is interesting.
02:46Yes is at 34 cents, which means $100 you plunk down, Joe, $195 will be your profit as it pays back $295.
02:55For me, I look at LeBron James.
02:57He's already going through it right now with sciatica.
02:59That just means you're getting old at this point.
03:02You're looking at this as Luka's team.
03:03And also, the Lakers, you're just like, hey, man, we want you back as long as possible.
03:08Now they're not even extending LeBron James.
03:10Like, no, just pick up your player options.
03:12We only have one year to deal with this right now.
03:14I firmly believe LeBron James is not going to retire, let's just say, you know, right after the season.
03:20I do think LeBron James does want to have a victory tour.
03:23And I do think next year could possibly his last season.
03:26I'm going to say, you know what, I'll bet the yes.
03:29And I'll take the $195 profit here on LeBron James announcing that retirement here before the season starts.
03:35I think he'll do it.
03:36I do.
03:37I agree, Donnie.
03:38I think it's absolutely in the works already.
03:41So, this would not shock me in any way, shape, or form.
03:46You know, listen, Dale, what a sciatica now.
03:48The team clearly has issues across the board.
03:52And if things don't start to work out this season for them, in other words, they don't look like they're going to make the postseason.
04:00I think that announcement could happen, Donnie, and then all of a sudden the farewell tour begins for LeBron James.
04:06And also, it looks like you got a double shot at this, though, but I can't, it says, note the retirement must be intended to be, and then it says full rules, which is probably like, you know, 16 pages.
04:15But do you get the benefit of if he announces his retirement and retires this year, or he announces his retirement and plays?
04:23Is that both a payout of yes, or does this question mean he announces his retirement before the 2026 season and he plays?
04:30You know what I mean?
04:31Like, there is a little bit of gray area right now in this.
04:33Yeah, there is a little bit of gray area.
04:37But the last I saw, I think the recent odds check was somewhere around a 33% chance of retirement before the 26-27 season.
04:48This has continually been going off, Donnie.
04:50It started at around 26-27%, but now the probability closer to 33%.
04:56And I just think the longer he is not on that court, the higher this is going to get.
05:00This is one of those invest early and cash out before it happens.
05:05Now, do we have the graphic up here for the LeBron tweet that we sent out earlier today on that market?
05:10There we go.
05:11So we got it posted.
05:11Will LeBron James announce his retirement before the 2026-2027 season?
05:16No!
05:1725% yes, Joe!
05:2075%.
05:20No surprise there.
05:21I agree with the public on that one there.
05:23That's the market I care about.
05:24Yes, yes, yes.
05:26I agree.
05:27It's not a matter of if.
05:28It's just a matter of when.
05:31And listen, I mean, at this point, I mean, is it fun, like, being hurt all the time?
05:35Like, if LeBron could just show up right before the postseason and be like, all right, I'm good to go, ready to go.
05:41But having to go through an entire season, he's going to want his, you know, his farewell tour as well.
05:46So don't be shocked as if this happens prior to Christmas.
05:50That's the way it gets down.
05:51Tonight, we're looking for a bounce back tonight, Joe.
05:53Joe stumbled a little bit for me for the Boston Celtics.
05:55They were supposed to win that game by two points.
05:57They lost that game outright.
05:58And an under the century last night, opening night down in Florida for Joe.
06:02So we will bounce back.
06:03Why?
06:03Because it's time for bye, bye, bye.
06:12Crank it up, Joe.
06:13We going back to the NBA?
06:14Where are we going tonight?
06:15So many options tonight for a best bet.
06:17How about it?
06:18I'm still laughing at it.
06:20You know, what, close to 300 games Orlando and Miami have played.
06:24They never scored almost 80 points in the first quarter in the history of the two organizations.
06:29Pretty funny last night.
06:30But tonight, I'm going to go back to the association here.
06:33And I'm going to take a look at this Golden State Warriors and Denver Nuggets game.
06:37And this has been about as one-sided a series as anything that you'll see.
06:43The Nuggets have dominated the Warriors over the years here.
06:48And I love the fact that Denver went out and got some reinforcements.
06:53The biggest issue for Denver last year was the depth.
06:56They didn't have any.
06:57Once the Joker went to the bench, well, that was the end of it.
07:00Well, not so much this year now.
07:02Now they went out, they got Cameron Johnson from Brooklyn.
07:05They got Bruce Brown back.
07:07They got Tim Hardaway Jr.
07:08And they got Valanchunas.
07:10This is a much deeper roster than what they had a year ago here.
07:15But I think they are plenty big enough, strong enough, and good enough here.
07:19Jamal Murray's healthy again.
07:20The Joker's ready to go.
07:22I think it's too much here.
07:23I think Denver wins this game.
07:25And at this price, I got no problem backing them going up against the AARP Golden State Warriors.
07:31Give me the Nuggets on the Moneyline here tonight.
