00:01The Clippers and the Warriors are going to take place today.
00:03And yesterday, the Warriors did play on their home court and picked up a victory.
00:06Now they're on a back-to-back against the Clippers, who weren't on a back-to-back last night.
00:10This game, Joe, 11 o'clock tip time tonight and a slight favorite towards the Clippers and 224.5 as a total.
00:18I guess they just say, we do not want anybody on the East Coast to watch this basketball game.
00:24Let's bury it at 11 o'clock.
00:26Who wins that one?
00:27Clips Warriors.
00:28Well, the good news for the Clippers and the Warriors is when this game is over,
00:32they'll still have a chance to watch the World Series game because likely that game is going to go another 20 innings or so here.
00:41But listen, the Warriors got it done last night here.
00:45Interesting enough, this looks like they're going to have Al Horford back.
00:50He was held out last night.
00:51A couple of guys were held out for the Warriors last night.
00:54So they were looking ahead to this spot here against the Clippers, who this is one of the lower totals, Donnie,
01:02in a league in which we have seen nothing but overs for the first week.
01:06And I think that tells you everything.
01:08You got a Clippers team that's very veteran laden.
01:10They have no interest in running up and down the court, and neither are the Warriors on the second of a back-to-back.
01:16So this feels very much like the under of the night.
01:21Back-to-back for the Philadelphia 76ers.
01:23They'll be on the road tonight to take on the Washington Wizards.
01:25This line opened up slightly as a five-point favorite for the Sixers.
01:28It's come down a little bit.
01:29Fours and four-and-a-halves in the marketplace now.
01:31But look at that total.
01:32We just talked about a game around that 224-and-a-half number.
01:35The Sixers and the Wizards as high as 238-and-a-half in the marketplace.
01:40The young guards for the Sixers bouncing around the court.
01:43They'll take on Washington tonight.
01:44What do you think gives in this game, Joe?
01:47Maxie and Edgecombe are just a...
01:48I love this Philadelphia team when Embiid is not on the court.
01:53When Embiid is on the court, Donnie, it is not a good situation here.
01:58He slows everything down.
02:00This is a team with those really long athletic wings who like to get up and down the court.
02:06They are much better with him on.
02:08Now, this is the Wizards who are likely going to be, again, one of the worst teams in the NBA this year.
02:13So, this is the best chance for Embiid to get back on track.
02:18The line had grown, Donnie, I think, to about five, maybe five-and-a-half.
02:23I could only look at the Sixers in this spot.
02:26And the total, just under 240.
02:28The Wizards are going to like to run, Embiid's not.
02:32I'm wondering how many minutes he actually gets here tonight in this game.
02:36Yeah, we'll see.
02:37There's probably still a minute's restriction on Embiid coming into the season here.
02:40Probably no more than 20 to 25 minutes if he gets that far just to try to work him back in shape.
02:44A little slimmed down Embiid.
02:46He better be slimmed down to run with some of those electric guards that the Sixers have certainly been showcasing over the first couple games of this NBA season.
02:53Milwaukee tonight, Joe.
02:55An 8 o'clock start, that's going to be the New York Knicks and the Milwaukee Bucks.
02:58A slight favor to the road team.
03:00The New York Knicks at about a minus one-and-a-half, depending on where you're shopping at.
03:03In the total, that's listed at 228-and-a-half.
03:06Bucks, Knicks, live from Milwaukee tonight.
03:10Yeah, this should be good.
03:11Both teams have the same rest here, and both are coming off.
03:16The Knicks lost to Miami in that last game.
03:20Cleveland ended up beating the Bucks, so both teams looking to bounce back.
03:23But this should be a fun game.
03:26The Knicks, too, tempo-wise, they've been playing a lot of guys.
03:30They've been scoring some points.
03:32The Bucks can absolutely go at it and score.
03:35I think maybe we're going to get a few more points here than what the total indicates.
03:40It's just under 230, Donnie, and I'm not buying it.
03:42I think points are coming in this one.
03:45Champs, center court tonight.
03:47Sacramento Kings in town to take on the Oklahoma City Thunder.
03:50If we look at this game at a tip-off at 8 o'clock, it's a heavy favorite.
03:53No surprise to Oklahoma City.
03:55Listed across the board at minus 10-and-a-half and a total of 227-and-a-half.
03:59OKC loves to play themselves some overtime games.
04:02Can the Kings come to town, who I believe used to be the Kansas City Kings here, pull
04:07that upset, Joe?
04:09Yeah.
04:10Well, I mean, listen, they played last night.
04:12Did not cover, by the way.
04:13They did win, but did not cover against Dallas, who was on the second of a back-to-bat.
04:19Chet Holgrim has been questionable in the last couple of games, but has played.
04:24I'm wondering if they're going to hold him out in this game here tonight at home.
04:29Listen, the Kings, again, not going to be a great team this year by any stretch of the
04:33imagination, but know who's playing in this game for the Oklahoma City Thunder before you
04:39run and lay double digits, because Chet Holgrim might be sitting this one out.
04:44How about sitting this one out?
04:45You're probably going to not want to sit this one out, as I like to say, because you have
04:48the highest total of the night peaking in, Joe, at 241-and-a-half.
04:53What game is that?
04:54The Charlotte Hornets going to go down to South Beach to take on the Miami Heat.
04:57Tip time, 7.30, a Heat game with a 241-and-a-half, Joe.
05:04Donnie, I was laughing with you, Tom.
05:06I'm like, man, I have not seen this version of the Miami Heat in a very long time, and
05:10this version of the Miami Heat is going to run up and down the court, and they are going
05:15to get good shots, efficient shots, and they're going to make it, making nearly about 50% of
05:21their shots right now here, Donnie.
05:22Miami has scored 382 points this season.
05:26That is the most by any Heat team after the first three games here.
05:30They are flying, and they're getting great contributions from the young guys on this team.
05:36But don't sleep on Charlotte.
05:38I love Charlotte.
05:39They're another team that is going to run up and down the court here with ball and company
05:43and bridges.
05:44They've got some guys that can flat-out shoot as well.
05:47So, yeah, I wouldn't want to sweat out an under in this game, Donnie, in any way, shape,
05:51or form.
05:52It opened at 237.
05:54It's already at 241-and-a-half, and I don't think that's high enough.
05:58By the way, taking a look at some of those games that did play last night, you know,
06:01some of the headlines, right?
06:02OKC 101-94 over the Dallas Mavericks.
06:05They're going to play it back-to-back tonight.
06:06But the Mavericks, Cooper Flagg, 31 minutes, 1 of 9 from the floor, 2 points, and a minus 20
06:13here.
06:14Are we worried about Cooper Flagg?
06:15Is it too early to worry about this young kid?
06:18A couple stinkers thrown in the first couple games here.
06:20I mean, the kid is 18.
06:23He's playing back-to-back.
06:24So, like, you've got to get—he's playing point guard because Kyrie Irving's not back.
06:30I think once Kyrie gets back on the court, things will level out.
06:34He'll get into a more comfortable role there, and Kyrie will help him.
06:38It'll all be good.
06:39But in the meantime, Donnie, you're going to have your peaks and your valleys with this
06:43kid.
06:43It's going to be like that all year long.
06:45How about a valley for the Lakers?
06:47Already without LeBron James.
06:48We don't know when he's coming back with the sciatica.
06:50Luka Doncic's down for at least a week.
06:51They get beat last night.
06:52But, hey, you know who's having fun out there?
06:54Austin Reeves gets to do whatever the hell he wants.
