00:00Hello, Vanakkam and Namaskaram. Welcome to another very special show of SOSOT where we bring the latest updates and very important stories from the states of Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra and Telangana.
00:25And for the state of Tamil Nadu, it is buzzing with activities just like behind me. You could see how there's a chief minister's convoy and such because it is election season.
00:33But before dwelling into that, let's go to Sagai first for a small brief as to what is happening in Karnataka. Sagai, what do you have for us for the day?
00:40Never end to CM Nadu, the state of Karnataka. Chief Kunal Sidramaya has reacted to the statement of AICC Chief Ballikarjun Karge, stating that it has locally created a problem and the high command has no role in that.
00:58And there is also one story comes from Bengaluru on Crime Front where a crime was been reported, a woman was been harassed for sexual favor and money.
01:12Indeed, important story, Sagai. Thank you. And also Abdul from Telangana, what do you have for the day?
01:17Well, we have a shocking news that is coming from Hyderabad where a celebrity, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, was briefly mobbed.
01:28So what exactly has happened? What action has been taken? And there is politics also around this particular incident in this bulletin.
01:35Come on.
01:39We are waiting to get to more details on that, Abdul. Also, next is Andhra's Apoorwa. What do you have for us for the day?
01:47Well, it's a strong statement coming in from the Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Pawan Kalyan, on the YSRCP.
01:54In fact, he has said that should their rowdies continue, there will be Yogi Adityanath-like government action that will be taken.
02:02Listen to all the details coming in the stories.
02:05Thank you, Apoorwa. Pretty strong statement from the Deputy Chief Minister there.
02:11And also Shibhimol from Kerala, what do you have for us for the day?
02:19Well, Pramod, a migrant laborer, in a very shocking instance, a migrant laborer was mob lynched in Palakkar district.
02:27Five people have been arrested in the case and Chief Minister Pindra Vijan has said the strict action will be initiated against all those accused in this case.
02:34Shocking story indeed, Shibhimol. Thank you for all those updates.
02:40And coming back to Tamil Nadu once again, let's begin the show.
02:44And so like I said earlier, it's just election season, but it is also the season of Christmas and New Year.
02:59It looks like parties, one after the other, are conducting special events, special functions to actually bid for the Christian community.
03:07First, it was the Chief Minister.
03:09And now we have Tamil Nadu, Karagam leader Vijay, who conducted his own party function as usual at Mahabalipuram with 1,500 participants.
03:18Again, only with QR codes, people could enter, but the interesting factor is that Vijay wanted to talk about a story from Bible,
03:26quoting a story about a person who was betrayed by his own brothers, quote, due to kind of, we could say, jealousy,
03:34and then how that brother came out of it, recovered and became a king of a country.
03:39Here's how the event went.
09:04The evil design, the evil intentions of the VGP and the RSS will not be allowed to be carried out in the state of Tamil Nadu.
09:12Judiciary's decision on the verdict is final and binding upon everybody.
09:16But Tiruparam-Kundram issue is not an issue with respect to two religion and an issue with respect to Tamil Nadu.
09:23Tiruparam-Kundram issue for DMK is the only hope for Uday Nidhi to win.
09:29So they have narrowed it down in such a way.
09:31They have cleverly strategized in such a way that just by appeasing one section of the people,
09:37the prospect of Uday Nidhi winning if he contests in Chepak is brighter.
09:41That is a clear indication and that is clearly the government reveals its anti-Hindu mindset.
09:50Repeatedly we were telling about that.
09:52And the chief minister is conveying that VGP is doing divisive politics,
09:57but clearly the CM is doing, the government is doing divisive politics.
10:00It is not that VGP were opposing.
10:03You would have seen from yesterday the poor ladies from the local area,
10:07they were fighting and they were asking the cops,
10:10why didn't you allow us to light the lamps?
10:12But you are allowing the Tandoori program for the minorities.
10:17But it is not dividing.
10:19The government itself was dividing.
10:21People were almost staying very friendly and the government in a biased manner,
10:28highly condemnable, and we are giving protection for them.
10:32And in this same hillock, where both the gods are there,
10:36and for one god and for one section of the religious people,
10:41totally biased activities in spite of the court order, in spite of the court order.
10:51And we have a breaking from the state of Tamil Nadu.
10:57This one's about the special intensive revision,
11:00and last week it was the list that was released of VGP.
11:036.41 pros, close to 97 lakhs, plus boats have been remote,
11:09and that is quite shocking because the DMK claims that they were expecting
11:12a large amount of boats to be remote, but not this much.
11:15On one side, AIDMK is appreciating and supporting the SIR,
11:20while DMK is still raising questions over SIR.
11:24In fact, the Chief Minister, M.K. Stalin, held a meeting with the district secretaries
11:27where he went ahead and gave them instructions and advice as to what to be done,
11:33scrutinizing, checking the votes which have been left out,
11:36and find out if any valid vote has been left out or not.
11:39And now we have the state's Deputy Chief Minister, Udini Di Stalin,
11:42weighing in on this particular issue, claiming that in Chennai alone,
11:4614 lakhs-plus votes have been removed,
11:48and he claims DMK has been opposing special intensive revision
11:52since the beginning, claiming the time given was not sufficient.
11:56Still, instructions have been provided to the party functionaries
12:00to double-check the list.
12:01Here's what the Deputy Chief Minister said.
12:03Thank you very much.
12:33Thank you very much.
13:03what a mother would a movie would a fun body would a table would a catch you
13:07ready to live in there and it's really hard at the walk in a cry
13:12taboo not really a thing or a plan is a lord to make a run up
13:16yet put it up at the young by the I can't hold a NASA car at the dangling you
13:20it is the worry a dick it will be my taboo not to come down on it's a credit
13:25a trick with it but you know our mother and they say are the trigger man to
13:29Thank you very much.
13:59recently the chief minister also held a meeting with the district secretary as
14:23where he said that like scrutiny over 97 lakh plus voters removed must be done by
14:28the district secretaries and once again aidmk was attacked over there claiming aidmk is
14:32blindly supporting sir and the removal of these voters is that so the entire government missionary
14:38who are all bellows are armed twisted by this dmk to remove votes eligible votes that too now
14:44i'm getting news from all the sections that aidmk votes are been intentionally removed some office
14:50barriers of aidmk votes were been intentionally removed by those billows under the pressure of
14:54blas of dmk it is dmk who had literally mishandled this entire exercise of xair for their benefit
15:02so he talking big about essay now talking about 96 has to be fine-tuned once in clearly shows the
15:08double standards of dmk if you oppose you have to oppose how come after 97 lakhs are being deleted
15:14he says we have to reel no end to cm nataka in karnataka after congress chief malik arjun kharge
15:28defended the high command over the karnataka cm nataka karnataka home minister jeep parmeshwar
15:34has met malik arjun kharge cm sidramaya has been invited to delhi for cwc meet on december 27th
15:42dk shukuma may also travel to delhi tomorrow for kaveri meeting with officials in delhi
15:48karnataka home minister dr jeep parmeshwar called on kharge at his residence in bengaluru
15:54he said that any confusion must be resolved within the party and that governance must not take a backseat
16:03he also said that confusion can have an impact on administration as well malik arjun kharge earlier
16:10clarified that confusion over leadership issue in karnataka existed only at local level and not
16:17within the high command karnataka bjp meanwhile hit out at ruling congress in states saying that
16:23cm sidramaya and its deputy dk shukumar have been continuing drama for months now and that the people
16:31of karnataka were irritated with the drama within congress here are the reactions coming in the tour
16:37karnataka nandaka
21:38I mean the sirkara modi to a president brother they love our mother though you
21:45mother of a person
21:53as deputy chief minister and KPCC president DK Shukumar is trying to
21:58consolidate his stand as the next chief minister he is trying to meet the close
22:03ace of Sidramaya last month he had met KJ George Satish Jarkily Zamir Hamad Khan
22:09and thereafter he has met Kane Rajanad twice in less than two weeks all eyes on
22:15this particular meeting what is the next move of DK Shukumar is a bigger
22:18question meanwhile AICC president Malik Arjun Karge have a distance
22:23themselves from this entire power tussle where they said that it was locally
22:28created however Sidramaya has clarified that it is the high command who have to
22:34decide on the leadership change and they will listen only to him that's all from
22:39Karnataka let's go to our neighboring state Kerala where my colleague Shibimol
22:44will bring the latest from the stage
22:48thank you Sagai well a shocking incident of mob lynching a surface from the state
23:00of Kerala in the videos that we have shown you since morning a gruesome attack
23:05can be seen taking place on a migrant laborer from Chathisgarh in which a mob
23:10can be seen attacking him asking him certain questions the deceased has been
23:15identified as Ram Naren a migrant laborer from Chathisgarh he was in Kerala in
23:20Palakkad in search of a job and that's when this attack took place allegedly on
23:25charges of suspicion of theft is what we are understanding in fact he vomited
23:30blood and after this gruesome attack took place and he was rushed to hospital by
23:35the locals as well as the police but he succumbed to his injuries in fact what the
23:40post-morded report says is that he was subjected to brutal torture and there 80% of
23:45his body had suffered injuries is what we are understanding from the post-mortem
23:48report it's a gruesome attack that took place is what the doctor who conducted
23:52the post-mortem also said meanwhile his family is in Kerala and they've refused to
23:56accept and take back the mortal remains of Ram Naren saying that there are few
24:00demands that needs to be met by the Kerala government here the three demands
24:03put forward by the family includes strict action being initiated against all
24:08those accused all those involved in this case a compensation of at least 25 lakhs
24:12being given to the family as he was the only breadwinner of the in the family he
24:16had two small children he has two small children and that he needs that he had to
24:20tend to so a compensation should be given and most importantly they belong to the
24:24SC community in Chathasgarh so the case should be registered under the SC ST Act so
24:28these are the demands put forward by the family and they said that until and
24:32unless the government agrees to these demands they are not taking the mortal
24:35remains back to home in Chathasgarh. Chief Minister Pindrai Vijan has vowed action he
24:39has said that strict action will be initiated against all of them involved
24:42in this case he said that a special team is investigating this case under the
24:46leadership of Palakar SP and said that this is an insult to the state or you
24:50know the kind of progressive and highly civilized society that we have
24:54showcased before the world this is an insult to all of that that we have you
24:58know to that highly civilized society is what Chief Minister said he has not
25:02mentioned anything about the case being registered under the SC ST Act he said
25:06that whatever actions to be required that will be taken by the police
25:09especially the team that's investigating this case under the leadership of
25:13Palakar SP listen to the reactions
25:20the same time and the government.
25:21.
25:23.
25:27.
25:29.
25:31.
25:33.
25:35.
25:37.
25:39.
25:41.
25:42.
25:43.
25:44you are from bangla?
25:46yes, yes
25:48yes, I don't know
26:14This is basically one person who is belonging to Chathisgarh.
26:40He has been assaulted by some group of persons.
26:44And with respect to that, one murder case has been registered and five persons have been
26:49arrested.
26:50Five of the main accused have been arrested and remanded and further investigation is
26:54going on in the case.
26:55It is likely to be involvement of some more accused.
27:02We are like as for our investigation, we are still trying to collect a lot of evidence.
27:09So, we think that there is involvement of more number of accused and accordingly legal
27:15action will be taken against them.
27:17This is the case of Chathisgarh, Ram Narayan Bhaiyaal.
27:23This is the case of Chathisgarh, Ram Narayan Bhaiyaal.
27:32This is the case of Chathisgarh, Ram Narayan Bhaiyaal.
27:40This is the case of Chathisgarh, Ram Narayan Bhaiyaal.
27:48This is the case of Chathisgarh, Ram Narayan Bhaiyaal.
28:01Sankhaparivar Rajya Mahagya Parthakur Kuna Vargiya Vamsiya Vishatthi Ndeh Irayana Narayan Dam Narayan Bhaiyaal Pasha Narbhagirvindu Parate Alkota Kuala in the Matramana Madhya-Mangal Upadipo Paranjwantri Kuna
28:24Well, five arrests have been recorded in the case and we are understanding that there are more people involved in the case and in the coming days more arrests will be recorded in connection with this incident. That's all we have from the Kerala segment over to my colleague Abdul Bashir in Telangana.
28:42Days after a disturbing incident of Nidhi Agarwal being mobbed at a promotional event here in Hyderabad and a case being registered in this particular regard.
29:01Another incident has taken place yesterday at an event where Samanta Ruth Prabhu was in a promotional event, an inauguration event in the city of Hyderabad that is Jubilee Hills, a Sarif function or inauguration for a store that she was available.
29:17She had approached the venue after the event was completed, a sea of fans barged towards her and briefly mobbed her while she was moving near her car.
29:29Now this viral video that is being circulated on social media shows how there are concerns about the safety of celebrities in the city of Hyderabad, especially when a mob or public gatherings take place.
29:41Earlier incident, we have seen Nidhi Agarwal in a Lulu mall where she was promoting her movie, The Raja Saab and suddenly she was mobbed by the crowd, by fans that were there at that moment.
29:53And later she felt uncomfortable but however safely she was escorted to the car and then she left the venue.
29:59The police later registered a case but here what we are seeing in Samanta Ruth Prabhu's incident, just days after that, Samanta Ruth Prabhu had reached this venue.
30:07She had a security personnel with her, there was police officials present at the spot but a sea of fans barged towards her just to take a selfie and that had led to make her feel uncomfortable but she remained calm, she was conscious, she just calmly moved towards her vehicle.
30:23The security personnel and the police personnel helped her reaching the vehicle but the serious thing that is arising in the city of Hyderabad is the safety and security of these celebrities who are usually here in Hyderabad.
30:35Now here, police have not reacted to this particular incident but fans have questioned the safety and security of celebrities.
30:44Let's listen in to the political reactions also that are coming in.
30:47Thank you very much.
31:17Thank you very much.
33:15Well, in Andhra Pradesh, it's yet another way where there is sparring between the ruling
33:31government and the YSRCP.
33:33This time over the alleged threats and the kind of messaging that is being put out by YSRCP
33:39party caddles and leaders taking strong cognizance of the kind of messages, be it on social media or otherwise as well, where the leaders were allegedly seen using derogatory comments.
33:53Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Pravind Kalyan, has taken strict cognizance to this kind of messaging on social media.
34:01In fact, he goes on warning YSRCP leaders saying that these kind of messages saying Rappa Rappa or any other such kind of dialogues that are coming in, any kind of violence, it will not be meted out with in a soft manner in Andhra Pradesh.
34:15The Andhra Pradesh government is very strict.
34:17In fact, the Deputy Chief Minister is also going on giving strong warning saying that only if a rule like Yogi Adityanath's governance is meted out with this kind of behaviour, only then will these people learn a lesson.
34:32That's a strong statement coming in from Deputy Chief Minister there, Pawan Kalyan.
34:36In fact, he goes on and warns YSRCP leaders and cadders and all those who are messaging in these kind of disturbing fonts saying that anyone who happens to violate women's safety or be it this kind of abusive language being used on social media or otherwise as well, there will be strong cases that will be put against them and that these kind of abusive language will not be tolerated finally in Andhra Pradesh.
35:03That's what they are saying. Listening to what Pawan Kalyan has to say on this.
35:07They are saying that if you don't talk about it, you are afraid of it.
35:11Why are you afraid of it?
35:12Why are you afraid of it?
35:14They are saying that they have a lot of people who are raudis, who are raudis, who are raudis, who are raudis.
35:20The words of Sri Pawan Kalyan are not worth taking seriously. He is only trying to provoke YSRCP cadder with such kind of disgusting comments.
35:35Actually, there is no need to react on such kind of statements. If Pawan Kalyan really wants to do politics, he should focus on public issues and people's problems such as Manrega bill needs a strong opposition.
35:50Rural workers facing a lot of problems. His own department, Panchayra's department facing a lot of issues and problems. These are the matters Pawan Kalyan should focus on.
36:08But instead of focusing on such matters, he is choosing to make childish and unnecessary statements.
36:18Well, thank you, Apoorva.
36:22Thank you, Apoorva for those updates from the streets of Andhra Pradesh and also Abdul Bashir, Sagai, Raj and Shibhi Moll for all the questions.
36:37For all the updates from the states of Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka and Telangana.
36:43These are the important updates for today. Thank you for watching SoSouth and keep watching India Today.
