00:17Eddie, 90% of what he said in this movie was ad-lib, so I just said, Eddie, he's gone crazy on the deck, okay?
00:24You know, and so Eddie, of course, with that mind, he comes out with insane verbiage.

00:36Shh! There's a lion! He's driving the boat!

00:42This is really brilliant. I mean, Eddie's performance is brilliant. It's really, very, very original.
00:47But it just dragged on too long, and they wanted to get on with the film,
00:51and this is definitely a character bit with Eddie, with he and the parrot.
00:57But it just prolonged getting to the wild, which is really our story, the story between a father and a son.
01:03Although it's very, very funny, and we would have loved to keep it on the movie, it just fell flat.
