00:44the festival featured an immersive showcase combining pyromusical fireworks,

00:49laser projections and iconic 3D anamorphic visuals symbolically ushering in the year 2026.

00:56The festive atmosphere was further enlivened by the appearance of Weera and Manja,

01:01the sunbear mascots of VM2026, representing Malaysia's warmth, identity and uniqueness

01:08as a world-class tourism destination.

01:10Also present were Tourism, Arts & Culture Minister Datuk Sri Tiong King Singh

01:15and Minister in the Prime Minister's Department, Sabah & Sarawak, Datuk Mustafa Sakmut.

01:27highlighting Malaysia's diverse local talent through a fusion of traditional and contemporary music elements.
