00:00Hello and welcome to episode 2 of The Traitors Uncloaked.
00:03This is your official visualized companion podcast with me, Ed Gamble.
00:08And before I go any further, there are so many spoilers in this episode that I lost count.
00:12So, make sure you've watched episode 2 of The Traitors on BBC iPlayer before you watch this.
00:18So, what's coming up?
00:20We'll take a deep dive into the secret traitor.
00:22What are the clues? Who are the main suspects?
00:25Judy and Nettie join us to reflect on their time in the castle.
00:28Plus, traitor hunter Joe Marler and faithful Tom and Alex from series 1
00:33are here to talk secret traitors and bubbling suspicions.
00:41Welcome, welcome to all of you. Alex, Tom, Joe.
00:43Hello.
00:44Hello, Joe.
00:45Hello, Joe. Thanks for having us back.
00:47Of course, you're most welcome. We're very excited to have you here.
00:49We've got to talk about the secret traitor.
00:51Love it.
00:51In this series.
00:53This is mega.
00:53It's huge, isn't it?
00:54Oh, it's so cool.
00:56Few levels to the game now.
00:57I feel like I'm back in the game.
00:59Yeah.
01:00And now I've just started making notes.
01:02I saw that.
01:03Because of this secret traitor, I can play.
01:07I can actually play rather than just watch it and just...
01:09Yeah.
01:10I can actually play now.
01:11So, I'm really excited but also really bemused by it all.
01:15Yeah, it's definitely... It's perplexing for sure.
01:17I mean, we do have some clues, obviously,
01:20and us watching at home, we do get more clues than they do.
01:23We've got the shortlists for a start
01:25because we know anyone who's been put on the shortlist for murder
01:27is not the secret traitor.
01:30So, so far, we know that James, Ben, Rhys and Maz are faithful.
01:34Can I just corroborate that with my...
01:36Yeah, open your notes.
01:37With my notes.
01:38I've been trying to read his notes
01:41because he's clearly good at finding...
01:42Yeah, let Joe consult his very small book for such a big man.
01:45So, we've got James, Ben, Rhys and Maz.
01:50We know they're faithful.
01:52Faithful. Hundies.
01:53Hundies. They're Hundies.
01:54I actually, in my notes,
01:56wrote down that Maz could be the secret traitor
02:02even though he can't, actually.
02:04He couldn't be. Yeah, yeah.
02:05But that's only because he had red trainers on.
02:07Oh.
02:08I love that we're looking at hair and clothes.
02:10Could be Sam
02:11because he's got the same amount of letters as red.
02:15In his name.
02:19It's factually true.
02:20Joe, you have a reputation for being a really good traitor hunter.
02:23Yeah.
02:24I feel like some of this stuff...
02:25Hot luck.
02:26...is maybe a little bit spurious, maybe.
02:28Do you?
02:29Well, maybe the Sam Red thing.
02:31Obviously, our shortlist to murder in this episode
02:34is Ben, Rhys and Maz.
02:36Does this shortlist tell us anything, Joe,
02:37about who the secret traitor might be?
02:39Obviously, they seem to think it's a woman
02:41based on the fact that it's three men on the shortlist.
02:42Yeah, I'm inclined to go it's feminine.
02:43Like, there's a lot of male-heavy shortlist on the murder.
02:48I mean, my speculation is that it could be Amanda.
02:51She was an ex-police detective.
02:53If she is a faithful,
02:55in my opinion, I think she's not playing a very good game.
02:57Okay.
02:57Because she's putting herself out there too much
02:59that the other traitors would want to murder her.
03:02Yeah.
03:02But if she is a secret traitor,
03:04then maybe she's actually playing a really good game
03:06because she's putting herself out there so much
03:07that no one would think that she's the traitor.
03:09So we do have another pretty big clue, I think.
03:12Let's have a look at the handwriting
03:13on the murder shortlist from the previous episode.
03:16There it is.
03:17We can obviously look at the handwriting
03:19and perhaps compare that to some votes
03:22that have been on the chalkboards at the round table.
03:24It's quite small and neat handwriting.
03:26Yeah, I think it's really quite feminine.
03:28Yeah.
03:29And in my notebook,
03:31I made that Jade, Fiona and Roxy
03:34had quite similar writing.
03:36So what about you, Tom and Alex?
03:38What does that handwriting tell you?
03:39And remember, there's a potential
03:41that the secret traitor could be disguising
03:43their handwriting at the round table
03:45or indeed when they're writing the shortlist.
03:48I would definitely be disguising my handwriting, for sure.
03:51It's quite old-fashioned writing.
03:52I don't think anyone really writes like that anymore.
03:54You look at the Zed, it's very...
03:56I mean, I haven't seen a Zed like that
03:58in a very, very long time.
03:59Yeah.
03:59I like the curve.
04:00It's really good.
04:01It's really good writing.
04:03So are you thinking older, then?
04:04I would lean towards someone
04:06maybe a bit more mature, yeah.
04:07Yeah.
04:08Who do we think it definitely isn't?
04:10Who are your Hundis, Joe?
04:11I want to say Faraz.
04:13Okay.
04:13I want him to be a Handy.
04:15Yeah.
04:15Because he just seems like,
04:17oh, I'm having a good time.
04:18Yeah, yeah.
04:20And that would be a mega twist if he's not.
04:22But, yeah, I'm going to stick with it.
04:24Faraz is a Handy.
04:25Faraz is a Handy.
04:26Tom?
04:27I think Sam.
04:28Okay.
04:29I think Sam.
04:29He was very loud, and I was very loud,
04:32and I was not a traitor.
04:34I think it would be crazy to be loud and traitor-y.
04:39If it is Sam, he's playing a very risky, I must say.
04:42A hugely risky game, I would say.
04:44Because he's a real voice at the round table.
04:46Strong.
04:46He's going round, he's sowing seeds.
04:48No matter what he says,
04:49he was sowing seeds about Judy, I think.
04:51And if you're the secret traitor,
04:52you've got no heat on you.
04:53Yeah.
04:53Just be quiet.
04:54Sit back, relax.
04:55Yeah, yeah.
04:55Enjoy the game.
04:56What about you, Alex?
04:57I also think Sam is a Handy,
04:59because he did make a bit of a fool of himself
05:02at the round table.
05:03Yeah.
05:03It was a lot.
05:04And if you were a secret traitor,
05:06and you've got that power,
05:08you would have zero need to do any of that.
05:09Yeah.
05:10And if he was,
05:11then it was a bit foolish.
05:12If you guys were the secret traitor,
05:14how do you think you would have played it?
05:16What do you think, Joe?
05:17Oh, because I've no experience of being a traitor.
05:22Yeah, snap.
05:23I'd go berserk.
05:26I'd just start planting seeds and being like,
05:28right, it's Rachel.
05:30Yeah.
05:30Why?
05:31I just know.
05:32I just reckon so.
05:32I'd just say it all,
05:34to get them all out early doors
05:35and then see what happens.
05:36But before I got that,
05:38I'd get a little bit closer to Hugo,
05:40because he's quite a character.
05:42Yeah, yeah.
05:42And I'd like have a little bit of fun with him.
05:44Yeah.
05:44Maybe the odd wink and stuff like that.
05:47And then he's gone.
05:48So you'd give yourself away immediately
05:50as the secret traitor to the other traitors
05:52by like winking.
05:53Yeah, yeah, yeah.
05:53And finally,
05:54how do we think the traitors are doing so far?
05:56This is the traitors that we know the identity of.
05:59Joe, what do you reckon?
06:00I think Rachel's probably the one
06:04that's thinking more about how to strategise
06:07with the game and that lot.
06:08Hugo's being a bit more of the jolly, friendly,
06:11I'm a faithful,
06:12let's have a good laugh together.
06:13And Stephen, well, he's just immaculate.
06:17Yeah.
06:17Like, can we talk about how incredible he looks?
06:19Yes.
06:20Yeah, he's so cool.
06:21That blue jacket in the first episode.
06:23He looks great.
06:25But it's so nice to see them
06:27under as much pressure as the faithful.
06:29Yeah.
06:29Because they're all scrambling a little bit.
06:32Yeah.
06:33They're doing all right.
06:34Yeah, I'm enjoying them as a crew.
06:37I think they've been very, very well selected.
06:39And like you say,
06:40you've got the immaculate Stephen,
06:41you've got the savvy Rachel
06:43and then Hugo is like from a Dickens book.
06:47So we had our first round table of the series
06:50and after coming under a lot of suspicion,
06:53Faithful Judy was voted out.
06:55I'd just like to say,
06:56you've been absolutely amazing.
06:58I've had an absolute blast.
07:00And I'm just me.
07:09I am.
07:15The faithful.
07:22Very sad to lose Judy this early.
07:25Yeah.
07:25Quite a character
07:26and clearly a lovely person as well.
07:28But obviously the secret relationship,
07:31she is Roxy's mum.
07:32Does the secret relationship help in there?
07:35I mean, I'm obviously going to ask you to.
07:36No.
07:37I'm going to jump straight in.
07:38No.
07:38I mean, I shouted about it
07:41and we died
07:41and then obviously you keep it...
07:43You can't...
07:44We've not seen a couple do well yet.
07:46It's incredibly hard
07:47when you're in there as a pair.
07:48What do you think would have happened
07:49had you not shouted about it?
07:51Oh, we've been rich right now.
07:52We'd be on holiday.
07:52A great time.
07:55No, I think having a secret relationship
07:58just adds to the stress.
08:00Yeah.
08:00Because you've not only got yourself to worry about,
08:02you're then worrying about that other person,
08:04which presumably you care about that person
08:06because you wouldn't have brought them in with you.
08:08But like the whole time
08:09that you were in there with me,
08:11I was thinking,
08:11oh God,
08:12is he going to make it in the next day?
08:13Like, is he making a fool of himself?
08:14What the hell is he wearing today?
08:16Honestly.
08:17She would do little lines like,
08:18oh, nice shirt and in my head,
08:19oh, you bought it for me.
08:19Very good.
08:20Very good.
08:21Like that.
08:21Right, it's almost time to invite
08:23our banished and murdered players
08:25into the studio.
08:26But before I chat to them,
08:27here's the moment they both found out
08:29who the traitors are
08:30shortly after leaving the game.
08:34Oh my gosh!
08:36Are you okay?
08:37Oh my gosh!
08:38Oh my gosh!
08:39Am I gay?
08:43The fact that I'm seeing you here now,
08:45I feel like I probably did play a part in that.
08:48And I am sorry for that.
08:49That's fine.
08:49It's killing me because
08:51I've either got regret in my heart
08:53for putting your name out there
08:54or I'm going to be really excited.
08:57What are you?
08:58What were you?
09:00Well,
09:01to be honest,
09:04I'm...
09:08a faithful!
09:09Oh, Judy!
09:10Do you like that?
09:11I'm so sorry.
09:12I'm so sorry.
09:13It's okay.
09:14I feel like that's on me.
09:16No.
09:16And I'm sorry.
09:17We're in a game.
09:17Who are your definite traitors?
09:20I think
09:21one could be Roxy.
09:22Oh, why?
09:24Because she's quite bubbly
09:26and out there
09:27and she's
09:28too much
09:29running around everybody.
09:30Okay.
09:30And lively.
09:32So, yeah,
09:32Roxy's one of them.
09:33Mm-hmm.
09:34Two is also Stephen.
09:36Oh.
09:37Because Stephen is...
09:39I mean, he's loving,
09:41he's very caring,
09:41you can see,
09:42and he always gives you a hug,
09:43makes sure you're all right.
09:44But, you see,
09:45for me,
09:46I just think
09:47it doesn't seem sincere
09:49when he gives me a hug
09:50and things like that.
09:51Okay.
09:52And the third one
09:54would be Sam.
09:56Oh!
09:56Because half the time
09:58he spends smiling
10:00and very quiet,
10:01keeps himself in the background.
10:02Okay.
10:03Trying to be Mr. Smooth.
10:06So, yeah,
10:07I think it's Sam.
10:08Okay.
10:08Who do you think
10:09the traitors are, Nettie?
10:11Well, like,
10:12I do think you are a traitor.
10:14I can't lie.
10:15Okay.
10:16But then having time to reflect.
10:17Yeah.
10:18And you can tell me
10:19what you think about this.
10:20Okay.
10:20Rachel.
10:21Rachel.
10:22Well,
10:22no,
10:23that's not...
10:24Okay.
10:24I don't think that with Rachel
10:26because she
10:27tried to out
10:28Ross.
10:30She never voted for me.
10:31She voted for Ross.
10:32Okay.
10:33So, she could have jumped
10:34on the bandwagon,
10:35but she didn't.
10:36Right.
10:36Can we find out?
10:37Let's go.
10:38Let's do it.
10:38Okay.
10:39Oh, my God.
10:39Oh, God,
10:40I feel a bit sick.
10:42I can see who
10:43decided to kill me.
10:44Right.
10:45Right, okay.
10:48Oh!
10:50Right,
10:50first traitor name
10:51is Hugo.
10:54No way!
10:56Hugo.
10:58Jesus.
10:58He's using his barrister
10:59skills very well.
11:01Before I got
11:02through the round table,
11:03I was going to pick Hugo.
11:04What made you not?
11:06Sam.
11:06His whisperings.
11:07Yeah.
11:08Right,
11:08you ready for the next one?
11:10God.
11:17Ah!
11:17Ah!
11:17Ah!
11:18Ah!
11:18Ah!
11:18Ah!
11:18Ah!
11:18Ah!
11:18Ah!
11:18Ah!
11:18Ah!
11:18Ah!
11:18Ah!
11:18Ah!
11:18Ah!
11:18Ah!
11:19Ah!
11:21Rachel.
11:22No!
11:23Rachel!
11:24No!
11:25I'm glad at least I got one right.
11:28Oh, my goodness.
11:29She's playing a good game.
11:30That is very good.
11:32Okay.
11:32Ready for the next one?
11:33Yeah.
11:41You were right.
11:42Who?
11:43Stephen.
11:44I told you!
11:45I told you!
11:46If we'd actually put our heads together,
11:48we would have had like two of the three.
11:50I knew that there was something there.
11:53Oh!
11:53I knew.
11:54I'm hoping people have got eyes on him.
11:57On both of them.
11:58I tell you what,
11:59I'm not being funny,
12:00but they're all playing a very good game.
12:02Yeah.
12:03Yeah.
12:03Just a minute, Nettie.
12:05There's another one,
12:05isn't there?
12:07There is.
12:08What is that one?
12:09Shall we find out?
12:11I don't know if I can check anymore.
12:13Go on.
12:14Well, I'm kind of loving this.
12:15Yes, I am as well.
12:17Okay, let's go.
12:17Oh, see, I was thinking about this.
12:24There's a secret relationship.
12:25No.
12:28Jude...
12:29What?
12:32You!
12:34Judy Roxy, a mother and daughter!
12:37What?
12:41Sorry!
12:42Is she adopted?
12:43Yes.
12:44Oh, my God!
12:45That's like half of that.
12:50Wow.
12:50Wedding from that one!
12:53I love that.
12:54So my daughter,
12:55I'm thinking,
12:56go Roxy,
12:57go Roxy.
12:57I love that.
12:58Oh, you must be so proud.
12:59I'm so proud of her.
13:02And Judy and Nettie are with us now.
13:07Welcome to Unclosed.
13:09We're obviously very sad
13:10to see you go so early,
13:12but we're glad we get to chat with you now.
13:13Yes.
13:14First things first,
13:15Judy,
13:16in that tape,
13:17you said that you thought
13:18your own daughter was a traitor.
13:19Oh!
13:21Is that something you genuinely think,
13:22or were you just keeping up the pretense
13:24as long as you possibly could?
13:26To be fair,
13:26we did a mission together,
13:28and she gave me a look,
13:29and I thought,
13:30ooh,
13:30she must be a traitor,
13:31and she must be saving me.
13:33And that's what I thought.
13:34Oh!
13:35Obviously not.
13:36Well,
13:36she was definitely trying to save you,
13:38I think.
13:38She was definitely trying,
13:39yes, she was.
13:39But was that a traitorous thing?
13:41We don't know yet,
13:42but potentially.
13:42No idea.
13:43But I love that you allowed yourself
13:45to suspect your own daughter.
13:46You've got to.
13:47I mean,
13:47we've been discussing it already,
13:49but we thought,
13:50as soon as you went in there,
13:51Roxy was basically
13:52treating you openly
13:53like you were her mum anyway.
13:55We saw her going,
13:57the problem is, Judy,
13:58you're a very loud lady.
13:59Yes.
13:59A bit forward for a stranger.
14:03I am.
14:04Netta,
14:04your reaction to finding out
14:06that Judy is Roxy's mum
14:08was absolutely priceless.
14:09I was shook.
14:10Yeah,
14:10talk us through that reaction.
14:11Well,
14:12of the evening that I did have,
14:14I was sort of
14:15putting all these
14:16sort of little links together.
14:18She'd obviously said on the train
14:19she was adopted,
14:21so I took that on board.
14:23But I'm going down the route
14:24of Harriet,
14:26you know,
14:26Fiona,
14:26anyone else.
14:27Didn't look at this one here.
14:29Yeah.
14:29So that,
14:30yeah,
14:30that did throw me slightly.
14:32It must have been nice
14:32to see Roxy defend you
14:34so much though,
14:35Judy at the round table.
14:36Go on, Roxy.
14:37I know what my daughter's like.
14:39She's very,
14:39she's very out there
14:41and if she's got
14:42some of her be in a bonnet,
14:43she will grab onto it
14:44and run with it.
14:45Yeah.
14:45So I knew she was
14:46sort of trying to stick up for me.
14:47You've only just seen
14:49her reaction
14:49after you left
14:50the round table.
14:52She was,
14:52she was pretty cross
14:53with everyone.
14:54Oh yeah.
14:55That's Roxy to a T.
14:57It looks like
14:58she's on a bit
14:58of a revenge mission.
14:59Oh, she will be.
15:00Oh, she will be.
15:01I mean,
15:01for me,
15:02obviously,
15:03I came out
15:04and I just thought,
15:05go and shine.
15:06Go and be the Roxy
15:07I know and love.
15:08Did you at any moment
15:09plan to reveal
15:10your relationship?
15:11No.
15:11Keep it secret
15:12to the end?
15:12Oh,
15:13we had a full mission
15:13and everything.
15:14Oh,
15:15we don't know each other
15:15and she just kept
15:16gravitating to me.
15:18Let's talk about
15:18your predictions
15:19in that tape
15:20about who the traitors
15:21were.
15:21Nettie,
15:22what made you
15:22suspicious of Rachel?
15:24I didn't get much time
15:25to sort of talk
15:26with her in the castle
15:27but do remember
15:27on the night
15:29that I was murdered,
15:30she was in the kitchen.
15:32She was very good
15:32at kind of just
15:33listening to people.
15:34She didn't say too much.
15:36I was going at it
15:37with Ross
15:37and saying,
15:39you know,
15:39all these sorts of things,
15:40just watch out
15:41and, you know,
15:42she's just over there
15:43in the corner
15:43quietly soaking it all in.
15:45Yeah.
15:46So I think
15:46she maybe used that
15:47against me.
15:48Jo,
15:48what did we think
15:49of their traitors predictions
15:50because there were
15:50two out of three
15:51between the two of them,
15:53not bad.
15:54Well, it's spot on,
15:55isn't it?
15:55Yeah, we did a lot.
15:55It's just a shame
15:56that everyone else
15:57wanted to get rid of you.
15:59If you stayed in there
16:00longer,
16:01you'd have hunted them down.
16:02I think we would have
16:03had them.
16:03I think we'd have been on it.
16:04But maybe we were
16:05the threat
16:06that they didn't want in there.
16:07Got a bit scared of us.
16:08Too strong ladies.
16:09I think so.
16:09Oh,
16:10you're now friends now.
16:12She's forgiving me.
16:14Best friends.
16:15I think it's fair to say
16:17there were some prior
16:17relationships in there
16:18for both of you,
16:19actually,
16:20but some more
16:21unexpected than others.
16:23I know how it looks.
16:25I'll be really honest
16:26and say,
16:27when I'd initially
16:27come out of the cars,
16:29I was obviously
16:29saying hello to everybody.
16:31And I'd initially,
16:31honestly,
16:32just planned to go
16:33recognise her
16:34and not say anything.
16:38But one thing
16:38I want to assure you,
16:39I had genuinely no idea.
16:42I'm still sitting on the fence.
16:43I don't necessarily
16:45know whether you're
16:46traitors or not,
16:47but the connection
16:48for me is just
16:48a little bit like,
16:50it's a huge coincidence.
16:52Yeah, yeah.
16:52That's fair.
16:53It's just got to be questioned,
16:54but that's just
16:54me being honest with you.
16:57Oh!
16:59Judy,
16:59that was like
17:00the popcorn meme
17:01of just you sitting back
17:03with us,
17:03just enjoying it all unfold.
17:07Nettia,
17:07talk us through
17:08how you felt
17:08when you saw Ross
17:09when you arrived
17:10at the castle.
17:11I mean,
17:11my mind was blown
17:12and I think you saw
17:12from my reaction.
17:13Yeah.
17:14It was just sheer,
17:15what is this?
17:17Yeah.
17:17To the point where
17:18I mounted him
17:19in excitement.
17:20Wow.
17:21I was not expecting it
17:23at all.
17:24In my mind's eye,
17:25I've come to this castle,
17:27I'm not going to know anyone,
17:28and then this big beast
17:30of a man
17:30that, you know,
17:31has got quite a presence.
17:33I'm like,
17:33I know you.
17:34Did you recognise him
17:35straight away?
17:35Yes.
17:36Albeit,
17:36I couldn't remember
17:37his name
17:37in the first,
17:38second,
17:39because it has been
17:40such a long time
17:41since we saw each other.
17:43Yeah.
17:43But, you know,
17:44you're not going to forget
17:44that face and body.
17:45Yeah.
17:46Not if that sounds wrong.
17:48It sounds how it sounds.
17:49I don't mean by that.
17:50Yeah,
17:50it sounds exactly how it sounds.
17:52He's a presence.
17:52He's a presence.
17:53How do you know each other?
17:55Just years and years ago,
17:56we had a mutual friend.
17:57I played basketball
17:58and he's obviously
18:00into fitness
18:00and it was just sort of
18:01a connection
18:03through that.
18:03Yeah.
18:04So,
18:04what a mad coincidence.
18:07And I just,
18:08I couldn't stop
18:08my brain ticking over
18:09like how,
18:10I just didn't understand.
18:11Yeah.
18:12Was it planned?
18:12Did they know?
18:13Were you secretly gutted though?
18:15I know you had that moment
18:16where you mounted him
18:17and you were like,
18:18great to see you.
18:20Great to see you,
18:21Ryan.
18:22Who are you?
18:23But then were you like,
18:25oh,
18:25maybe this is going to work
18:26against me.
18:27No,
18:28see,
18:28I'm not as smart as,
18:29like,
18:29he obviously said
18:30he didn't plan to
18:31and he didn't know
18:32I was going to be there either.
18:33It was genuine
18:34shock for both of us.
18:36But in my,
18:37I'm an excitable puppy,
18:38so I hadn't sort of thought
18:40a few steps ahead
18:41in terms of,
18:42okay,
18:42I can't play into this
18:43because clearly
18:43I just reacted.
18:45You can see that
18:46when you see each other
18:47that he has that split second
18:48of like,
18:50should I say,
18:50should I not?
18:51And by that point,
18:52you're on it.
18:52I didn't give him a chance.
18:53Yeah.
18:53You're absolutely on it.
18:54You have no chance in this.
18:56I wonder what would have happened
18:57if you just,
18:57he turned around and went,
18:58I've no idea who you are.
19:00Who are you?
19:01Sorry.
19:02This is weird.
19:03Did you push me away
19:04by the head?
19:06Judy,
19:06did you suspect
19:07anything of their relationship?
19:09How did you feel
19:09when you found out
19:10that they knew each other
19:11in the past?
19:11Well,
19:11the first thing you think,
19:12oh,
19:12why are they in together?
19:14Are they a couple?
19:14Yeah.
19:15Of course you're going
19:15to go down that road.
19:16I mean,
19:17imagine if they were
19:18a secret couple
19:19and then Nettie blew it
19:21that early.
19:22She's like,
19:23I've got it.
19:24I've bloody mounted him now.
19:26There's nothing I can do.
19:29But then if you,
19:30like,
19:31if you had thought that
19:31knowing that you and Roxy
19:33had your secret relationship,
19:35would you have thought,
19:36you didn't obviously
19:36think any different of it.
19:38Obviously.
19:39Everyone was like,
19:39ooh, ooh, ooh.
19:40So obviously it got people talking.
19:41So there was something
19:42else to talk about.
19:43That's a really good point.
19:44That very much takes
19:44the heat off you
19:45and Roxy initially
19:46that they're all talking
19:47about that relationship
19:48rather than any potential
19:50other ones.
19:50Who made the decision
19:51to go on the show, Judy?
19:52Was it you or Roxy?
19:53Me?
19:54Roxy got me into the game,
19:56obviously,
19:56to watch it.
19:58And she says,
19:58there's a great thing on,
19:59you need to watch this mum
20:00and da-da-da-da,
20:01whatever.
20:02And then when it finished,
20:02I thought,
20:03I could do that.
20:05I could do that.
20:05I was going on my own.
20:07And I thought,
20:07you know what?
20:08I rocks.
20:09She lives in Amsterdam.
20:10She's a recruitment officer
20:11and I adopted her.
20:13Why not?
20:13So you only adopted her
20:14after you'd applied for traitor?
20:15No.
20:16No.
20:18I need a daughter
20:19to go on traitors with.
20:20So, of course,
20:26the huge thing in this series,
20:28right at the top of the series,
20:29the secret traitor.
20:31Are there any inklings
20:33from you guys
20:33as to who the secret traitor
20:35could be?
20:35Let's start with you, Nettie.
20:37It baffled the hell out of me
20:38because just no expectation.
20:41Obviously, you know
20:41that something's going
20:42to be different.
20:43Even when we're on the train,
20:44we're like,
20:45something's going to happen
20:45and it was all a bit too easy.
20:47So this bombshell was fabulous.
20:49I love it.
20:49I want to think of Fiona
20:51as I watch her
20:53and thinking about
20:54how she was in the castle,
20:56like very bubbly
20:57and sort of silly.
20:59But then watching her
21:00when she's in
21:01sort of the private chats,
21:03she just had this like
21:04air of calm and cool
21:05about her.
21:07So I think
21:07she's got my eye on her.
21:10What about you, Judy?
21:11I think Jade.
21:12Jade could be a good shout
21:14because she's being
21:15a little bit quiet
21:15but she's still involved
21:17in the game.
21:17She can hold her own Jade.
21:18She can definitely hold her own.
21:19Did you pick up
21:20on the hand rising as well?
21:21Round the round table.
21:22I think Judy had enough
21:23to deal with at the round table.
21:25Judy, Judy.
21:25No, never.
21:26Oh, that was going down.
21:28What's it like
21:29in that moment
21:29when you're at the round table
21:30and you can feel
21:32a lot of suspicion
21:33coming at you?
21:33How does that feel?
21:34Well, obviously,
21:35I was warm
21:35because Roxy had said,
21:36Judy, your name's
21:38been out there a lot.
21:38I thought,
21:39oh, is it now?
21:40And obviously,
21:41there's a little bit
21:41where you see me
21:42talk to somebody
21:44in the kitchen.
21:45Yes.
21:45So I was ready.
21:46I thought,
21:47bring it on.
21:47We just had to go with it.
21:48You went down
21:48with your head held high.
21:49I did.
21:49I loved that moment
21:51where you'd got wind of,
21:53who's been saying my name?
21:54Yeah.
21:55And then it was like,
21:56oh, Sam's been saying it a lot.
21:57He's like,
21:58where is he?
21:58Yeah.
21:59Where is he?
21:59There's no moment
22:01to be like,
22:02I wonder what's going to happen.
22:04Let's collect ourselves
22:05and see what's going to happen.
22:06It is,
22:07where is he?
22:07Find him now.
22:08Are you avoiding me today, Sam?
22:10No.
22:12Aren't you?
22:14Why?
22:15Why'd you say that?
22:15I've not spoke to you much today.
22:17I think you're avoiding me.
22:17You were carrying me on the throne.
22:20I think you're avoiding me
22:21for some reason,
22:21but I'm ready for you.
22:23What made you go,
22:24right,
22:24I'm just going to go
22:25confront him straight away?
22:27Because that's what kind of person I am.
22:28I can't have anything to fester.
22:30I have to confront it,
22:31say it,
22:32get it off my chest.
22:33Was it awkward,
22:34the fact that you were sat
22:35next to each other
22:36at the round table?
22:37Yeah, that was so good.
22:38I've never seen someone
22:39so loud go so quiet
22:40so quickly
22:40and then have to sit
22:41next to that person.
22:42Because he's playing
22:44a completely different
22:45game of traitors
22:45to the one you were playing.
22:47Because he was not expecting
22:49anyone to call him out on it.
22:50He was like,
22:50well, that'll come up
22:51at the round table,
22:52but this game's all about
22:52subterfuge.
22:53It's about being quiet.
22:55It's about not revealing
22:55your true intentions.
22:57Next thing you know,
22:57kitchen door flies off the throne.
22:59In comes Judy.
23:01You've been avoiding me today.
23:04I can't believe I said that.
23:05Oh, it's great.
23:06It's so good.
23:06It's so good.
23:08Tom and Alex,
23:09how do you think
23:10Roxy should play the game
23:11now that Judy's out?
23:13Do you think
23:13keep the relationship
23:14absolutely quiet?
23:15Put it in the bin.
23:16Act like it never existed.
23:18There's literally
23:19zero reason
23:21or benefit to her
23:22to mention it.
23:23I think she should get
23:24the revenge mission done.
23:25Yes.
23:26Against Sam.
23:27Get Sam gone
23:28and then just forget about it.
23:30Yeah.
23:30Like withdraw,
23:31just so that you still love her.
23:33And she probably will.
23:34You don't want your mum
23:35on holiday with you
23:36for the whole thing anyway,
23:37do you?
23:37No.
23:38No, not at all.
23:40I feel like you wouldn't
23:40cramp her style.
23:41I feel like you'd elevate it.
23:43Yeah.
23:43We've got a great relationship
23:44and she can hold her own.
23:46Yeah.
23:47I don't need to hold her hand.
23:48I love the way
23:48how much you defended yourself.
23:50I would love to have seen you
23:51if someone was accusing
23:52Roxy in front of you.
23:53Oh yeah, that would have been great.
23:54Yeah, how would that have gone down?
23:55There's not enough words on you.
23:59Before we go,
24:00Joe, I think we have to talk
24:00about your trainers
24:01because they're absolutely incredible.
24:03Thanks.
24:03Yours are nice too.
24:04Thank you so much.
24:05But mine aren't sort of
24:05custom traitors trainers.
24:08Yes.
24:08The celebrity trainers,
24:09of course.
24:10Yeah, I got these done.
24:12They're amazing.
24:12Yeah, I did send it
24:14to the rest of the cast
24:15to get their thoughts
24:17and they were fucking livid.
24:20Sorry.
24:21They were livid.
24:23They were like,
24:23what have you done
24:24to our faces and that like?
24:25I was like, well,
24:26it was based around
24:28the laser mission that we had.
24:31Yes.
24:31Where the heads
24:33that we had made of us
24:34were slightly suspect as well.
24:36They're really cool.
24:37I thought they're nice
24:38and this is the opportunity
24:40to wear them.
24:41Yeah, they're perfect.
24:42I love them.
24:43The chat continues over
24:45on BBC Sounds

24:47and Judy will be sticking around

24:52post-traitor's life.
24:54It's all in your bonus episode
